How to unlock every achievements [SPOILER]

A guide to unlock every achievements in the game

Introduction

Doing challenges or game modifiers disable most achievement progression

But for Master of Challenges

A made this guide to help players find every achievements in the game. Some aren't clear in the achievement description, there was frequent questions asked on the Discord so I'll group everything here.

Disclaimer : I have over 130h in the early-access, and 80h since the release when I'm writing this guide. I've unlocked every achievement in the first week of the release

I've ordered them by difficulty (based on the % of total player having the achievement in steam stats at the date of creation of this guide)

Characters achievements

Every characters achievements have the same goal :

• Level up a character to level 9 which is the max
  
• End at least one game in difficulty 3 (Darkness)

Ending the run in Darkness difficulty is retroactive, meaning you can do it once and then farm the character level 9 experience in any difficulty, challenge, unfinished runs, or custom mode later

It will unlock lore pages of the hero with an audio narration for each. Melusine even has songs instead of the standard narration.

You can track those by looking at the "Memoirs" pages. A full unlock will look like this :

Use the muliplayer button[i.imgur.com] and look for a public game, or play with friends.

No one left behind

Complete 3 quests in a single run

Minimum difficulty

Adventure

All quests can be hard to achieve for beginners.

Chapter 1

Avoid the stray house if you can and wait for level 5 before starting a quest.

Chapter 2

DO NOT be eaten by the boss grab move (it will have a spark above his head when he's doing it).

Chapter 3

You have first to fight big knights to save her.
Then trigger the quest a second time and enter the boss arena.
Be careful of the tree life, you can AoE little enemies to help prevent damages on the tree

Three Wishes

Wish for 3 Magical Objects at a single Wishing Well

Minimum difficulty

Adventure

Green ones are the easiest

The Three Little Pigs

Complete all three Swyne brothers quests

Minimum difficulty

Adventure

Complete each different houses quests (Stray, Wood and Stone)

You will need at least 3 runs for this one
You don't need to finish the run, just save the house to confirm the objective
The Stray house is by far the hardest one because of the 360° open area. Beware of ghouls that spit they are a real nightmare for this house. Second beware of pigs, especially the day the explosion when they die will damage the house.

The House of Nightmares

Reach Epilog - Part 1

Minimum difficulty

Twilight

Finish the chapter 3 and enter the epilogue

Loot Hoarder

Have 20 or more magical objects equiped during a single run

Minimum difficulty

Adventure

Duplicates of items does count in the total of items basically doing a full run should unlock it most of the time.
Try to aim for wishing wells.
Be aware that the first item in green wells, rewards from grimoires and Aladdins yellow trait doesn't count. Only the items in the left sidebar of your run HUD will count toward this achievement

The Ogress's Lair

Reach Epilog - Part 2

Minimum difficulty

Darkness

Beat the house event in the epilogue and meet the last boss
(not sure, but you might only need to enter the epilogue in difficulty 3)

The Cleansing of Reverie

Complete 4 or more Nightmare tumors in a single run

Minimum difficulty

Adventure

Most of the time those objective aren't prio at all, so just start a solo game with your main character and clear them as soon as possible.
There are only 2 tumour by chapter so two chapters minimum are required to get this achievement.

Legendary Hero

Have 9 Legendary Talents in a single run

Minimum difficulty

Adventure

This one can be tricky for beginner : Try to get 5 Leprechaun coins as fast as possible and play around stars of fate to generate as much money as possible.
The Hope Diamond cursed item will help a lot but it's a risky move.

Mercy of the Ravens

Buy 3 feathers from Altar of Heroes in a single run

Minimum difficulty

Adventure

You can only buy one feather per chapter

(the following will be bonus XP)
Don't forget to buy one each chapter.

Giant Slayer

Defeat 3 optional bosses in a single run

Minimum difficulty

Adventure

Those are the bosses marked as a skull on your map.
You will need a key to trigger the fight or enter the area.

Chapter 1

Ghoul Boss: Beware of its bite, especially in solo run
or
Ghost boss: This is a timed event, will disappear at 50% and you'll have to fight a single wave of ghost. Alternates between scream and charging

Chapter 2

The Tough Crab: Will regain full armor protection when standing back up, have all the crabs ability and can chain them (beware those bubbles !)

Chapter 3

The Three Witches: Very dangerous fight, the biggest will charge twice and curse your, the 2 other are sparkling thunder and bomb dropper. They will stay in the fight after your killed them until the fight is over so be careful of those abilities, harder to see without their life bar

All is well that ends well

Defeat Baba Yaga without using any Raven Feather

Minimum difficulty

Darkness

Do not use any feather for the whole run

Here the description is unclear: you need to never user any feather FOR THE WHOLE RUN, not only in the Baba Yaga's fight.
Buying back bonus feather doesn't count toward this achievement, you'll still fail it.
Not advised to play solo (unless you're sure you'll never die), if you play in multi death's door doesn't count as long as someone or Aladdin's wish revives you.

Savior of the Day

Revive 3 heroes at the same time

Minimum difficulty

Adventure

Easiest way to do it :

• Play as Aladdin
  
• Wait for your 3 team-mates to die
  
• Use you green wish (Trait button => Defense button) to revive them all at once

Alternative way to do it :

• Wait for your 3 team-mates to die (definitive death when no more feathers)
  
• Teleport to the feather altar that is unlocked automatically after a permanent death
  
• Pay 4 x 100 shards (400 shards total) to revive them all at once

This is ironically one of the hardest and rarest achievement right now because people tends to leave when they think the game is over (and basically if you have to res your whole team it's a 400 dream shard lost, and a lot of time wasted on this, so it's kinda logic.).

My best advice is to find 3 friends or to ask on the Discord for people to help you suicide in Nightmare difficulty, then revive them as Aladdin. It will take no more than 1min / game to unlock the achievement.
If you're doing this beware of the feather timer, make sure everybody (but you) dies together and fast

Master of Challenges

Complete 5 challenges in Darkness difficulty or more

Minimum difficulty

Darkness

Challenges are the game modifiers in the lobby

This is the most often asked achievement as the description is not very clear about what "challenges" are.

Be warned that doing a challenge (or using any custom modes) deactivates any other achievement but this one, and unlocks of hidden character skins.

Don't forget that it needs to be in Darkness difficulty

Tips

Untouchable

I did it with Snow Queen using her Defense talent that gives shield.
Mostly building around shields and / or heals will help you a lot.
Go vitality / armor to survive if you can.
Dashs build are obviously very strong with this challenge, like the Beowulf Fireball Spam build, going Vajra and Aladdin Magic Carpet on dash, or Carmilla last attack combo after Dash/Defense are both good options.

Black Moon

Considered by far the hardest challenge in the community, you'll have to learn to dodge / intangible every thing as most enemies will remove chunks of your life.
The most important part is probably the reroll attribute, making Leprechaun Coins + Golden Egg builds very efficient.

Power of the Sun

Free legendary ? If you're playing solo I'd advice to go for Tamatebako as it helps a lot building the way you want. If you're playing as group ensure someone in your party got the Vorpal Blade (big AoE builds, DoTs builds, etc. are the best for this one) as it will speed up a lot your clearing from start to end of the run.
Avoid taking long run legendaries at start like Excalibur as you won't probably have that much money to spend into your talent upgrades (+100% shard cost is HUGE)
Restart the game to get the legendary you're looking for.

Adrenaline

This one is probably the second hardest challenge. Only 2 days of in game time is really problematic, you'll have to prioritize your objectives as much as possible.
If you can, go for the yellow/red PoI as fast as possible. I'd recommend to ignore optional bosses unless you get the key. Forget about tumours completly as it's the less efficient time / utility ratio of the game by far.
The key here is to clear fast, prioritize objectives, doing solo helps because of the timer pause that will earn you 30~60 minimum / chapter.

Terra Incognita

Probably the easiest but most exhausting (and not so fun to me) challenge.
No timer = easy win, but the map being disabled you'll have to memorize what you've been clearing, and sometime the map can be a maze for beginners. Veterants player won't have a problem with this one.
Just take your time, clear everything if required, go to the boss at lvl 8, enjoy a free challenge.
I don't recommend doing chapter 3 (restart the game in case you get it) as enemies are far more dangerous than the other chapter. Obviously chapter 1 is your best bet, but I did it on chapter 2 🙃

In the achiment Savior of the Day there is mistake of cost od dreamshards:
Yes you need to pay but the cost of shards is 200-(fether-100 per player, hero revive-50 per player)

Yeah I agree. It's kinda weird that's the only achievement that specifically requires a multiplayer/online experience, and also that when people think "it's over" they just gonna abandon and start a new game. I understand the idea on paper, but it just doesn't work.
If you need help, come by the Discord, we did it in ~30s / player with Aladdin, and there is always many people willing to help

Pig houses are totally random each game. You might need only three or way more games to achieve this.

Hello. So needed guide, its really good!! I have a question, Is there an order on the pig achievements or is it just RNG? I've made the mission several times and the mayority of time its the wooden one. Thanks for everything, stay safe!!
