Description
Just another HL2E2 map collection nobody asked for...


WARNING: I am an amateur, casual GModder, since I have only very basic to no knowledge of Hammer and no knowledge at all on how to use VSIF2VCD, which means that this campaign is by no means perfect and has flaws here and there. This would affect your overall experience with it, but it shouldn't stop you from completing it. Any feedback is appreciated.

WARNING #2: In breensprivateresevoir_wv, once you finally open up the boarded-up door in the room with the crowbar and an HEV suit before the cache of pistol ammo outside (although you may have to spawn your own pistol or other weapons), there is an invisible wall that prevents you from going through that door outside. To get to the next area from there, noclip past that invisible wall, and then continue.

NOTE: There are rendering issues in these two maps, breensprivateresevoir_wv and goinggnome_thc16c3, such as when the floor on the flooded basement and sewers don't render, and fixing them is way beyond my knowledge. This does not affect gameplay, however, so don't worry about falling to the bottomless void. (in the case of the basement and the sewer, the floor is invisible due to rendering issues, again, but you can still stand and walk on it.)

WARNING #3: These maps, ret_00_forest and ret_01_coast, tends to throw a lot of enemies at you. That is especially in the case of the second map, which is even before you manage to find a weapon on the second map (unless you spawn yourself your loadout upon starting the map), which can be annoying considering the fact that these enemies won't stop spawning after you activated both generators to open the gate to proceed further. As such, you can go all-out with your SWEPs or turn on God mode.

DISCLAIMER: This custom campaign has only been tested in sandbox singleplayer, with the only mods being tested with this map are explosion replacer, MMOD HL2 weapon replacements, ARC9/MWB/TFA/TacRP SWEPs, Combine Soldier model replacements, VManip addons, and HUD addons. I'm sorry to say this, but I cannot guarantee the campaign's stability if you use more complex addons (such as the ones that alter NPC's AI) and/or some old SWEPs, along with playing it in multiplayer.

DISCLAIMER #2: This custom HL2 campaign is not mine, as I laid out its original information in the lower part of this description. If the original author wants me to take it down, I'll do so.

This campaign consists of 5 maps in the "Other" category, which can be played in any order (if applicable, I commented on an entry in parentheses after the name):
- breensprivateresevoir_wv (One of the two maps (the other is here) created for the WaterVille competition in RTSL, but it was broken at the time of its conclusion. Fortunately, this map is the fixed version.)
- goinggnome_thc16c3
- ret_00_forest (The first of the two maps of an unknown dead custom HL2 campaign. However, upon finishing the map, it won't transition to the next map below.)
- ret_01_coast (The second map of the aforementioned dead campaign. I recommend playing this map after finishing the first map. The second map ends when you enter the road tunnel after escaping the building through the gate you opened upon activating the two generators, but I'm letting you know that the screen won't fade to black or even give out an ending text at that point.)
- suspendedoperation_thc17_c3

Alongside these completable maps, this map collection has 2 extra maps in the "Other" category, which are incomplete and unfinishable, but I left them in for someone with morbid curiosity:
- bridge_thc17_c3 (Basically an unfinished version of suspendedoperation_thc17_c3.)
- gardenhouseAmbush



ORIGINAL CAMPAIGN INFORMATION

Contents:
- BreensPrivateReservoir_wv (2015) - My first ever Half-Life 2 map, in which you sabotage a dam. This map was created for the 'WaterVille' competition on RunThinkShootLive.Com.
- goinggnome_thc16c3 (2016) - Deliver a gnome hood ornament to a garage, simple. This map was created for the 'BacktrackVille' competition on RunThinkShootLive.Com.
- suspendedoperation_thc17_c3 (2017) - Traverse a combine occupied bridge be wary of gnomes. This map was created for the 'BridgeVille' competition on RunThinkShootLive.Com.
- ret_00_forest (2016) - A remake of the first map, made for an abandoned mod campaign.
- ret_00_coast (2016) - A sequel to the prior map, also made for the abandoned mod.
