Hakurei Reimu is the main protagonist of the official Touhou Project series and the representative character of the Touhou series.

Hakurei Reimu is the current shrine maiden of Hakurei Shrine, located within Gensokyo. She usually resides at the Hakurei Shrine, but when there's work or an incident, she can be seen throughout Gensokyo and even in the world beyond. As the Hakurei Shrine maiden, her main role is resolving incidents, primarily defeating youkai and other enemies. In addition, she possesses extensive knowledge about youkai and often helps with related issues, not just serving the gods or managing the shrine like an ordinary shrine maiden.

Hakurei Reimu is a balanced attacker who excels in both offense and defense.

Reimu has two offensive options: the Yin-Yang Orb and barrier techniques. The Yin-Yang Orb skills excel in utilizing buffs from herself and her teammates, growing stronger as the number of buffs increases. Barrier skills, on the other hand, are adept at applying debuffs. Additionally, each time Reimu uses a different skill from the last, she gains buffs and skill enhancements.

To maximize Reimu’s abilities, carefully choose her growth path, attack strategies, and teammates that can synergize with her.
