All Collectible Locations - OneShot: World Machine Edition

This guide will show you all of the collectible (artifact) locations that is currently in the game, if you follow everything correctly it should gives you the following achievements: Color Coordinator, Social Butterfly, and Wallpaper Wizard.

Notes

This guide is organized in chronological order, meaning collectibles will be listed in the sequence that you can obtain them as you progress through the game.

If anything is missing or is incorrect, feel free to comment about it!

Defaults

These collectibles are given to you the moment you first start the game:
Wallpapers:

The Barrens

Here are the locations of the collectibles available in The Barrens:

Friend: Prophetbot

Appears next to the robot after talking to it.

Wallpaper: Outpost

At the entrance of The Barrens battery generator room.

Wallpaper: Factory

Inside the train cart near the dormitories and shrimp pools.

Theme: Blue

On the far west of the cliffs with the safe.

Theme: Cyan

On the east of the bubble swamp.

Friend: Silver

After getting the amber from Silver, this artifact will appears after playing chess.

The Glen

Here are the locations of the collectibles available in The Glen:

Friend: Rowbot

After getting to Glen using the boat, go south.

Wallpaper: Navigate

In the house at the starting point of The Glen, you should be here after fixing the rusty robot.

Theme: Yellow

In an alcove surrounded by water inside the ruins.

Friend: Calamus

After rescuing Alula and take her to Calamus, visit their home.

Friend: Alula

Ditto.

Wallpaper: Courtyard

In the bottom right corner of Calamus and Alula’s courtyard.

Theme: Green

From the house where you'd get the water sample from the robot, go north west.

Friend: Maize

Go back to Maize and take her seed, the artifact will shows up when you head back.

Friend: Magpie

Trade Magpie the wool, makes sure to decline first before accepting his offer.

Wallpaper: Calamus and Alula

After signing your name, it is on the right side but do not enter the door before collecting it.

The Refuge

Here are the locations of the collectibles available in The Refuge:

Wallpaper: Catwalks

From the cafe, go left and and upstairs. Keep going and it should be in the top right.

Theme: Red

Head inside the first open apartment.

Friend: Mason

Inside the last open apartment, this artifact will only appear if you planted the seed as Mason needs to give you dirt.

Friend: Watcher

Talk to the Watcher twice.

Theme: Pink

In the pool to the right outside of the library.

Wallpaper: Library Stroll

Go to the top left of the library's main hall.

Wallpaper: Secret RAM Club

On the bottom left of the club. To get in the club simply use the Ram Shirt on the wall with a goat mural.

Friend: Shepherd

Talk to the Shepherd four times.

Wallpaper: Lamplighter

It is offscreen in the far top-left of the back alley, beyond Lamplighter's apartment.

Friend: Kelvin

Talk to Kelvin four times.

Friend: Lamplighter

To the far right of vendor street, talk to the Lamplighter twice.

Theme: Orange

Entering the factory, go left and it should be on the top left pool.

Friend: Kip

At the end of the factory you will meet Kip, show her the Amber.

Friend: George

After giving George the journal and going to sleep, George will give you a dice after talking to her. This will spawn one of 6 artifacts. This is completely random on each run, however, you only need 1 for the achievement. On this example, the 6th one spawned.

Wallpaper: Cafe

After getting the Pancakes achievement, it will appears.

Friend: Ling

Ditto.

Wallpaper: Maize

After giving the seed dirt and medicated water, the artifact should appears.

Theme: White

Go behind the tower.

The Tower

Here are the locations of the collectables available in The Tower:

Theme: Rainbow

After coming back and waking Niko up, talk to the computer and it should spawn a door but do not enter it yet. Go south west.

Wallpaper: Tower

After the maze, you should see the fixed version of the house that you started in. Check the bathroom.

Solstice Exclusives

Here are the locations of the collectables available exclusively in Solstice:

Wallpaper: Prophets

Before entering the minecart, it is in the hallway behind the Prophet's computer.

Friend: Prototype

After the minecart section, it is on the right.

Friend: Cedric

After the flying cutscene with Cedric, it is on a pillar.

Friend: Rue

After a cutscene with Rue with the nice view, it will be on the right side.

Wallpaper: Memory

Behind the RGB Door, it is on the right side of The Author's study.

Wallpaper: Reflection

During the Solstice credits and after meeting with the Entity.

Friend: The World Machine

Ditto.

Wallpaper: From Niko

Check the documents folder after beating the game.

Friend: Niko

Ditto.

Friend: The Author

Check the documents folder, then My Games, and finally Oneshot after beating the game.

If you miss out on any of the Solstice exclusives, the missing ones will be spawned in the memory playthrough.

firstly, thank you very much for this guide <3 I didn't know what things i had left to get all achievements so this helped a lot. But I also have noticed for the cyan theme that wrote ''to the west of swamp'' and I looked on the west of swamp but could find it, then I looked on the east of swamp and I found it. If you read this you should probably change that just in case so other people aren't also confused.

yeah i wish there was a list in game that could at least hint at what you've missed in what chapters, some of them being missable is a pain in the ass and I don't really feel like replaying over and over lol

You need to make medicated water by getting the water pill from the furthest left streetvendor and combine it with tube of water and give to the pot, Thanks for guide!!

Can't seem to get the Mazie wallpaper to spawn, found out that you can refill the tube but can't seem to find what to do with it after that point. Just keeps telling me "But will that be enough?"
