Universe Sandbox Guide

This guide covers all the information you need to play Universe Sandbox. It explains step-by-step how to start the game, the basic controls, and methods for creating simulations

Starting the Game

Open Steam: Launch the Steam application and log into your account.

Find Universe Sandbox: Locate Universe Sandbox in your library and start the game.

Main Menu

Start Simulation: Use this option to start a new simulation.

Load Simulation: Use this option to load a previously saved simulation.

Settings: Adjust graphics, sound, and control settings here.

Basic Controls

Mouse

Left Click: Select objects.
Right Click: Rotate the camera.
Middle Click: Move the camera.
Scroll Wheel: Zoom in and out.

Keyboard

W, A, S, D: Move the camera.
Q, E: Move the camera up and down.
R, F: Rotate the camera.
Space: Pause and resume the simulation.
Tab: Change the simulation speed.

Creating Simulations

Adding Objects

Use the “Add” option from the left menu to add stars, planets, moons, and other celestial bodies.

Editing Object Properties

After selecting an object, you can edit its properties (mass, velocity, orbit, etc.) from the right menu.
Collisions and Interactions:
Observe interactions by colliding objects or altering their orbits.
