🪖│Types of gameplay
When you first start, you can choose the type of gameplay (which you can then change in the settings). You can choose any one you want, because the next thing you'll be faced with is the settings for this "process". In a nutshell, there are two buttons at the bottom: the left one is a normal game for casuals, and the full immersion one. Of course, these are just the default settings, but you can change them at any time in the settings to your liking.

(The following builds are taken from the internet)

So here are 4 settings for gameplay:

  • Casual - easy
    • Gear level: ON
    • Difficulty - enemies: Normal
    • Difficulty - tactical: Confirmed \ Veteran
    • Interface: Medium
    • Social and Bivouacs: Original

This build for people who came to relax without tension

  • Casual - hard
    • Gear level: ON
    • Difficulty - enemies: Extreme
    • Difficulty - tactical: Veteran \ Elite
    • Interface: Medium \ Light
    • Social and Bivouacs: Original

The same settings are customised for those who have already played similar games and want to make their way more difficult without changing anything drastically

  • Realism - easy
    • Gear level: OFF
    • Difficulty - enemies: Normal
    • Difficulty - tactical: Confirmed \ Veteran
    • Interface: Minimal
    • Social and Bivouacs: Restricted

If you're tired of casuals or ready to try something new, this build is made especially for you. Disabled weapon levels will put you in the position of scrutinising weapons, modifications. And the minimal interface and restricted community will force you to go to the main camp to change your weapons

  • Realism - hard
    • Gear level: OFF
    • Difficulty - enemies: Extreme
    • Difficulty - tactical: Veteran \ Elite
    • Interface: Minimal
    • Social and Bivouacs: Restricted

Get into the role of a real "Ghost". Strong opponents, minimal interface, critical amount of items in your inventory - all this will give you an unforgettable experience of exploring the map and cautious tactics

After some missions will open the function "Exploration Mode". Here everything to your opinion

There's a guide that lays out all the advanced process settings in a shelf-by-shelf manner. Link at the bottom

⚠️│Frequent errors
Game crashes \ lagging.
(If you are 100% sure that your PC components are capable of running game, then follow the instructions below)
1. Disable all antivirus
2. Select DirectX in Steam game properties
3. Update video card drivers
4. It is required to have an Ubisoft account (to link the game)
5. Reinstalling DirectX or Vulkan

Game crashes on Vulkan.
Solution from VladGromov and guidance from Rekkulani

UbisoftGameLauncher.exe - Application Error
I recently came across this problem. The solution, it turns out, is quite simple
(I'll list everything I did, as I didn't realise what fixed the game myself):
  • If you are in the Steam beta, then exit of it
  • Download and update Ubisoft Launcher
  • Launch the game with Ubisoft Launcher

🔰│For newcomers
Tips
1. Try to kill as many as you can
The initial stages will require a lot of experience to pump up the skill tree. Do not hesitate to kill (as strange as it may sound) for the sake of experience

2. Carry out the Maria Schulz tasks
Go off the main story path and visit Maria. She will tell you about the camp so that you can navigate it (if you are playing with the minimal interface) and also tell you about the basics of the game. I advise you to do her quests first, before the main game.

Turn 180 degrees from the shop and you will see your camp. There you can get ammunition, call a vehicle, prepare rations and get ready

3. Use binoculars
With binoculars you can find locations and camps. You can also use binoculars to find crates on the territory and mark them. To get binoculars, press ALT and select them.

4. Find bivouacs
Bivouacs can be found by navigating through the smoke in the sky. To make them accessible, you just need to find them. You can do this either by simply approaching them, or by using a drone or binoculars. Use a helicopter to find them faster

5. Do not reload with a full ammo clip
!!TIP FOR THOSE WHO PLAY ON DIFFICULTY - TACTICAL: VETERAN AND ABOVE!!
If your clip is full, don't rush to change it. The remaining ammunition will be removed as the character will simply discard the magazine
(Yellow is the amount of wasted ammunition)

6. Use the aiming mode
In some situations, when there are too many enemies or they are at a medium distance from each other, a larger view will be needed. To do this, press ALT while aiming to change the aiming mode

Information
1. Game menu (ESC)
  • Ghost War
PvP mode in which you compete against players

  • Lobby
Here you can either gather friends or other players, or you can team up with the AI (bottom right)

  • Tacmap
A map marking the regions where tasks are performed.

  • Objectives board
In this interactive menu you can view all the current tasks by moving the area with the mouse (at the top will be just Maria's tasks)

  • Loadout
    It's all kind of intuitive

  • Skills
Here you can choose your class and pump up your skill branch. I recommend pumping in skills like "Night Vision" and "Parachute". They will help you in the initial missions. The menu is INTERACTIVE! That is, to see all the skills, you need to move the background with your mouse

  • Customize
    It's intuitive here, too

  • Identity
This is where your profile and statistics are located

  • Options
Take about three minutes to explore this tab. But in a nutshell: "World Parameters" - events that you can enable or disable. May be required to get certain items or teammates. "Settings" - settings for everything and anything: interface, controls, video, etc. "Ghost Experience Parameters" - here you can change the difficulty
2. How to find a modification \ bivouac \ weapon?
Look for points of interest, interrogate enemies and explore files (these are labelled Information)

P.S.: If the enemy is in front of you and you need to interrogate him, shoot him in the legs. If you are behind, press "E" (default) to grab the enemy

3. How to upgrade weapons?
In total, the weapon has a maximum level of MK.3. You can view it, as well as improve the weapon, in your inventory or in the bivouac in Erewhon.

To upgrade weapons you will need:
  • 2 skills (3 points + another skill for 4 points, but more on that later)
  • Weapon parts

About skills: first one is needed to get more resources after dismantle. The other two are acceptable levels (MK.3 is maximum)

About weapon parts: At different locations in chests (marked with a white container on the map) you can find either weapon parts (just take them) or complete weapons (dismantle and get weapon parts)

4. How to defeat Behemoth?
A tank with rocket launchers and two machine guns is something new. In a nutshell, let's take it:
  • AI teammates with LMG (Light machine gun)
  • Rocket launcher (1 point in the "Weapons" category)
  • "Panther" class
  • LMG
  • EMP-grenades
  • Explosive

I suggest pumping the following skills: item capacity (2 lvls, +2 to the capacity of each item), explosive MK.2 (access to MK.2 explosive) and EMP-grenades (stuns drone)

If you need instructions in the form of text, you should do the following:
  1. Sneaking up on Behemoth
  2. Break the blue flask (immobilise her)
  3. Fire six rocket launchers at him
  4. Combining the ability of the "Panther" class and the EMP-grenade to finish with a LMG
    • Other explosives like the "MK.2 Grenade" can also be used
  5. Profit

A couple of videos demonstrating the process (not like mine):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wXLtBo8jio
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gX996uu6fiI
5. What should I do if stamina has red blockers?
When running for long periods of time, the character gets a stamina lock, exhaustion

To remove it, press ALT and select "Water Canteen". You can refill it near any river or body of water

6. What is the correct way to use a parachute?
In general, it is strange that this aspect was neglected, because you can descend from a parachute from almost any point on the map. The main thing is to have a run-up. What you need to descend by parachute:
  1. Find a long area with a cliff
  2. Press the run button (SHIFT) and run towards the cliff face
  3. 5-10 metres before the cliff, press the space bar
  4. Profit

7. How to disable the turret?
You can disable the turret by approaching it from behind and pressing "E". Also, if it is a machine gun turret, you can control it by pressing "F". The second option is to disable the generator, it can be found by the map \ binoculars \ drone. The generator, in turn, knocks out all the turrets on the base and also leaves the enemies without light, which can play to our advantage. The generator can be detected by its green indicator and blue colouring. What is important to know: the generator is not visible through thermal imager, and the indicator is not very visible in night vision. Therefore, it is better to look for it without goggles
📓│Tips
  • Use interactive map[swissgameguides.com], to look for modifications/sweapons/clothing or collectibles.

  • To remove the blur, go to "Options" -> "Settings" -> "Video". Disable "Temporal Injection" and set "Sharpening Intensity" to 80 or 100. And to change the contrast, in the same tab, click on "Image Calibration" (just below the "Sharpness" option).
    {Information taken from this guide}

  • Explore the control scheme to know all the hotkeys. To do this, go to "Option" -> "Settings" -> "Keyboard and Mouse" -> "Control Scheme". There you will be able to explore all the hotkeys. On the right I will leave a list of some keys for you

  • You can also use the drone (X button by default) to explore the area. You can use it to locate and mark enemies, find points of interest, and easily locate the resource crate

  • More play with AI teammates. They have in fact cheats: wh, aim, no recoil and more. And not only that, have ultimatum abilities that help you in battle. You can also make a synchronised shot together with partners or give them different orders

  • Listen to your enemies' conversations more often. You can often hear important information from them: whether there is a radio operator at the base who can call for reinforcements at any moment, whether there is a sniper at the post, whether there is a generator here and other important information

Builds

ASSAULT
Brief description
Assault is a tank class. The extra health will help you move more. The item is not the best, but it can be used. But the proficiency is much better. With reduced recoil and health regeneration, you can easily go straight at the enemy without fear of being killed. It is best to use ASR or LMG

Proficiencies
I think that these are the skills that will be best for this class. "Cold blooded", as well as "Feel no pain" skill (which I consider mandatory) will help you stand against strong enemies. You will never receive critical damage, which in turn gives you the opportunity to look out of cover more often right in front of the enemy's face. The increased syringe capacity (and an improved version of it) will help you stay on the battlefield longer. "Revivalist" skill I recommend you to take when playing with other players. With it, you will be able to freely approach your ally and revive him. But "Inspired" I advise you to take it when playing with AI, because they (if you give them the order "Cleared Hot") can destroy the entire outpost, and thus heal your wounds. Drone hunter is not the best alternative, but at least it's something. It will help you with long shooting with drones and other irons. Or you can take "Gunslinger" as it gives good buffs during skirmishes

FIELD MEDIC
Brief description
I'll be frank: medic is useless for PvE. Class technique is complete crap. A drone that heals an ally. Yes, it seems to be a good thing, but why do you need it if the opponents, even on the highest difficulty, are just dummies for beating? They are very easy to destroy and Assault, with his technique, blows his opponent to smithereens. But the technique could be useful in PvP (haven't tried it, just guessing. Who has had experience - post in the comments). Here's the item and skills are already better. Medkit, which gives a syringe that heals and adds extra health (like the fighter skill). Also gives the ability to revive yourself only in PvE, thus giving 3 attempts to revive, given that the teammates progression at level 15

Proficiencies
All the same as Assault class, as both need more resistance to damage

PANTHER
Brief description
Panther is one of the best stealth classes out there. The main plus point of this class is its technique and item. The technique can be used to get out of the enemy's sight very quickly, or alternatively, to get behind the enemy's back to quickly neutralise the group. The item will help in battles with both Behemoth (as I've described) and little pesky drones. The non-reduction of damage for wearing a silencer makes this class even more playable, and the increase in movement speed and stealth are a nice addition to the already imbalanced skill. As a weapon you can take either SMG or DMR and put a silencer on them (or at least ASR if you like fighting).

Proficiencies
If you buy "Breach torch" and pump twice "Item capacity", you can get into 7 bases with fences in a row. This device helps to ‘drill’ through the barrier by cutting a hole in it. The skills "Sensor hack" and "Slim shadow" will help you stay in the shadows longer. The "Adrenaline" skill is for those who like to attack from behind rather than head-on. With it, you can regenerate your health during a melee kill, and if you're liking fights, I suggest taking "Gunslinger" or "Ballistic advantage"
💪│Skills and classes (PT. 2)
SHARPSHOOTER
Brief description
Shooter, in my opinion, is one of the strongest classes in this game. The technique helps a lot in destroying vehicles, and the item will help you know the location of all enemies in an outpost. Skills add to the whole mix and help with sniper rifle shooting, adding more control and handling to all SNR. A helicopter is destroyed in three shots with the sniper rifle, while a transport is destroyed in 5. And the skills that fit this class are a perfect. Accordingly, in the first slot take SNR, and in the second slot DMR (or only SNR)

Proficiencies
"Ballistic advantage" will help with the range buff (which will let you destroy the enemy at long range). He's a must have. "Gunslinger" will help with quick destruction of the enemy, but it can be swapped for "Sensor hack" if you have difficulties with drones. "Rolling thunder" is the second required skill. It will help a lot with destroying drones, moreover it is a unique skill exclusively for SNR. "Iron lungs" is a nice addition to the already great breath control. "Thermal vision" is a must, as it's more convenient to destroy enemies at night with it. It's better than trying to see a couple of enemy silhouettes in the pitch darkness. "Maximum ammo" is required for sustained combat with DMR. If you ONLY have SNR, this skill can be ignored. The two "Specialised item carrier" skills I added, as the item class is very good, and to avoid running to the bivouac many times to replenish supplies, I decided to add this skill. I'll also just mention that it's best to use the most improved weapons possible and pump up your weapon mastery. My personal favourites are the M82 (SNR) and the M4A1 (DMR). Great for completing tasks
If you'd like me to cover the rest of the Classes, let me know in the comments!
⚙️│Modifications
P.S.: In the original manual, there is a lot of information written in this section, but it's just a translated manual, so I'll just leave the requirements, errors and references to the modification
!THE AUTHOR DOES NOT APPROVE OF THE MODIFICATION OF THE GAME AND ALL SITES THAT WILL BE MENTIONED BELOW! WHEN YOU START PVP OR ONLINE MODE YOU ARE OBLIGED TO RESTART THE GAME TO DISABLE ALL MODIFICATIONS! I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU!
Mods on Ghost Recon Breakpoint[www.nexusmods.com] are very diverse, and now I will briefly tell you about the most important of them. First, we will need:
  • Game based on DirectX11
  • Newest version of Cheat Engine[www.cheatengine.org] (to activate certain modifications)
  • AnvilToolkit[www.nexusmods.com] (to replace files)

1. "First Person View" and its supplement "First Person DoF Blur Removal"
https://www.nexusmods.com/ghostreconbreakpoint/mods/532
https://www.nexusmods.com/ghostreconbreakpoint/mods/550
These modifications will add the ability to play in first person. Doubtful, of course, since the game was intended to be a T-TPS, but the mod creators put in FPV for some reason.

From the mod author: Due to the fact that some modifications modify the "d3dx.ini" file, simply add lines to this file (d3dx.ini) from your mod using the text editor. "Ctrl+F" and type "Shader Manipulation" in the search. At the bottom, under the title, write the following lines:

[ShaderOverrideX] Hash=0399ed8e43d82473 Handling=skip [ShaderOverrideX] Hash=d424f6d0d2763234 Handling=skip

(ShaderOverrideX) X is the digit that comes after the previous values. If the final value in this file is ShaderOverride6, then you add the values 7 and 8. If these values are missing there, write 1 and 2. Information taken from post[www.nexusmods.com] about it. Second post from the bottom

If you are having problems, read the solution to these bugs at mod`s page[www.nexusmods.com]

2. "Ghost Recon Breakpoint Spartan Mod"
https://www.nexusmods.com/ghostreconbreakpoint/mods/4
If it's not hard enough for you, and you feel like your enemies are blind and deaf, then this mod will make your life two or even three times harder. It will strengthen the hearing aids of disabled troopers and insert eye implants to see you even through walls

If you plan to put this mod with the FPV mod, then change the values of the "d3dx.ini" file as done above in the "Spartan UI" folder

3. "Pre September 20th patch .forge files"
https://www.nexusmods.com/ghostreconbreakpoint/mods/486
In a nutshell: patch 20 september 2023 broke mods completely. And these vanilla files will help you run your old mods to customise \ add new stuff

Początkowo opublikowane przez Lzkiee, creator:
It turns out the start up crashes are caused when you are wearing a piece of modded clothing or gear on your current visual loadout. When you attempt to load into the main menu while wearing a modded piece of clothing or gear it will always crash/freeze.

If you are not wearing modded clothing at the time you launch the game your mods WILL work
🚫│The end
This guide was created to help newcomers to the game. I am a beginner myself, and I found all the information from this guide myself, because the game does not say anything about it. If I am wrong somewhere or made a mistake - write your comment, I will be glad to read it.
