GTA IV MUST HAVE MODS

Here I want to link the necessary things for a more pleasant GTA IV experience, due to the game being old and poorly optimised nowaday.

I used this mods myself and consider that this is a way to ease life, and enjoy the gameplay.

Installing Project Reborn

While looking through the multiple guides on Steam to get the achievements for the game, I found an interesting guide, that presented the important visual fixes for GTA.
The installation is simple:
- Download from the guide
- Unzip with WinRar, 7-zip, or Extract All with Windows
- Drag and drop (or copy) all the files into the main directory of the game (to find that, either find where you installed Steam then steamapps > common > Grand Theft Auto IV > GTA IV; or go to library, right-click on the game on the left, then manage and find the local files we ain't kids to not know it, right? jkjk)

After that, try and launch the game through library. It should work no issues, and then you will get way more settings, flexibility, and quality for your game. If it does not load - give your computer a restart, and try again. For me it bugged out a lot of time like that.

Installing Legacy Trainer

Another mod that you should have (in my opinion) is a trainer, that makes the game easier, as I personally hate when I have to move to the other side of the world for example, or get away from cops while being drunk (in-game) and try to manoeuvre around corners and etc..

It is also a handy tool in case that you want to experiment with the game, or have any other sort of fun.

NOTE: Installing can play some tricks along with the Reborn Project mod from previous section, however it should also work together.

Installation:
- Download ScriptHook, Complete Fix, and Liberty's Legacy Trainer

- Unzip all of them likewise, as in the previous section
- Then select the needed files (as in the next screenshots), and throw them into the main GTA IV folder, same as previous section.




- After you are done, try to start the game. If it does not, then restart your computer and try again.
