How to be a Kung-Fu Master in Chivalry
By HuesOfRosemary
True mastery of Chivalry starts at the lowest level: You will learn to become untouchable and land blow after blow onto your foes in quick sucession, regardless of the number. Kung Fu is real.

The greatest proof of skill
To be a Kung Fu Master, you must first play as a Man at arms. They must use their body as a weapon. To fully utilise this still, a Kung Fu master must be able to identify what their body can do in order to keep him alive and killing.
These can be split into a few small sections:

-Fists.
A flurry of strikes or a carefully launched combo, fists typically will be doing most of the work for a Kung Fu Master, flunching his opponants before they are able to launch strong attacks, or pummling them repeatedly into submission, punishing their every mistake.

-Feet.
A Kung Fu Master cannot directly block any weapon; instead he must aim to prevent his foes from ever even successfully attacking. While flinching from fists alone is significant, it is not always enough to displace or delay a foe, in these cases the kick must be employed, but as liberaly as can be spared. A Kung Fu Master must also make use of their feet defensively, knowing when to run and when to dodge, when to sneak and when to sprint, and especially when to jump over low swings

-Ducking.
In order to imobolise an opponant with your fists you must first get close to them. Large heavy weapons can often be outstepped, but to avoid beheadings, a Kung Fu Master should master ducking early, paying attention to the swings. A sweeping strike can become a vunerability if timed correctly, but you must take care not to fall to low swings, and remember to correctly emply a jump.

-Stamina.
A Kung Fu Master must strike without missing. Improperly used, a Kung Fu Master will quickly find themselves unable to react effevtively and will be force to rely entirely on defencive abilities.

-Throwing Knives.
A Kung Fu Master may find themselves throwing many foes around, but none can be used as a projectile, unless you are exceptionally talented. Generally considered sneaky if not clearly the only remaining option, Throwing knives should not be used for kills if at all possible.

These are the basic weapon principles of the Kung Fu Master, but there are other observances they must also make:

Free For All Arena is for truly training Kung Fu
Though a Kung Fu Master may make use of their skills any time, Kung Fu Masters should play Free for all, and in particular the arena. Kung Fu is designed to take opponants from all sides with very little warning, and you must learn to be able to control rapid attacks, defences, dodges and reactions with very little warning.

Spread the teachings of Kung Fu across the land.
If a Kung Fu Master diplays a particularily impressive display of Kung Fu, slaying all assailants and surviving as healthy as possible, they may declare as a boast "Kung Fu is real!" to show that the best players can win unarmed.

Other Kung Fu Masters
As you spread Kung Fu, you will find others following in your method, it is your duty to make sure they are properly observing Kung Fu, and though you may freely fight them, it is common for Kung Fu players to only focus other Kung Fu Masters secondarily. If you are defeated by a superior Kung Fu Master, than only you may declare as a mark of honor on the battle, that "I was defeated bya Kung Fu Master!" This is a right the slayer does not have. A Kung Fu Master should not be proud of slaying Kung Fu Masters, only honoured.

Location, Direction, Destination
For a Kung Fu Master to survive, they must understand they enviroment they are in, and with splt-seciond timing, make decions to interact with that enviroment in order to defeat opponants in order of danger, in turn, preventing them from striking, the Kung Fu Master must do their best not only to be aware of all barriers, but all moving opponants and weapons - be they projectiles or hand-held.
A Kung Fu Master must strive to know the location of all objects, and actors, the direction any moving actor takes, and calculate a likely destination with studied accuracy. With the right timing your opponants skull will be in your hands in an instant, and you will be nowhere to be seen as soon as it is understood what had happened.

We will explore these areas of Kung Fu futher as the guide is expanded.
The mighty Fist
So what do you think you know about Fists? Just a fun distraction at the end of the game huh? WRONG. Fists are a powerful, diverse range of attacks. There are X number of Fist attacks.

1. Right hook.
Left click once.
A draw back of the fist, followed by a swing in a horizontal arch curving across and slightly downwards.
Useful for swinging across targets as they approach the front of your chest. Easy to spot coming and difficult to accurately aim, but due to the large change in fist location, can also be hard to block.

2. Right Jab.
Scroll the Mousewheel up once.
A subtle, short draw back followed by a long, straight jolt of the fist, fully extending the arm.
Longer range than most, and much harder to see, the jab is incredibly useful for catching people on the side as they move away, or hitting an opponant at the end of their failed swing. But take care not to overuse this attack, as it's quick speed can make it easier for opponants to learn to step in time and easily block. It is best to think of jab as a utility rather than a stock attack.

3. Left Uppercut.
Scroll the Mousewheel down once.
A lowered draw back, followed by a long, diagonal arch upwards.
The strongest attack and often used as a powerful finishing move, it's slower speed can often leave opponants blocking too early, and paying for it dearly. As with all fist strikes, it is better to move your shoulders to micromanage your blows, movement of the body is significantly important for powerful uppercuts. Move your camera upwards as you strike for extra speed. As the Uppercut is an upwards strike, it is best used for moving from a lower position, such as crouching or facing upwards from a downwards position. However, as it is a left-handed attack and players will typically move left (Their left) to better support their right-handed weapons, you run a heavy risk of missing, with a long recovery, or exposing a lot of your body to land a strike.

4. Left hook.
Press the forward button once.
A draw back of the fist, followed by a swing in a horizontal arch curving across and slightly downwards, mirroring the right hook. It is essentially identical to the right hook aside from direction.
The Left Hook can be used as an alternate starting strike as foes will typically be expecting a right-handed strike, but as a left-handed strike it runs the risk of leaving you exposed to Right-handed strikes.

5. Right Slug. (Also known as Alternate attack)
Press the Back button once.
A delayed overhead strike that mixes attributes of the jab and power of the overhead, this unusual strike follows a similar, inverted trajectory as the uppercut.
A bit of a wild card, this strike can be used to confused an opponants expectations, but is difficult to employ due to it's slow speed. This can be used to claw opponants at a higher level traveling downwards, but is best employed as a missdirect.

6.Left-Right Hooks
Left click twice.
A Combonation strike of right, then left. identical to both the Left and Right Hooks

Best guide. Punched a knight to death, dodged a vanguard charge and kicked him off a cliff afterwards. Still lost the round. Unfair game, 420/69.

Knights!? You can't be a Kung Fu master that way... You must embrace the fagility of the Maa. Archers are also acceptable, though they must do no ranging!
