Q&A

Q: The engine sound mod is a standalone mod. Can I use it in conjunction with other mods to customize the sound of ecitaro?

A: Absolutely! You can modify sounds like the indicator lights by enabling other mods simultaneously. However, please try to adjust the load order of the mods to ensure the bus produces the correct sounds. As different modders create their mods in different ways, I cannot guarantee that this mod will work perfectly with other mods.

Q: Why is it only the engine sound?

A:Because in Taiwan, we have a domestic electric bus called MB120NSE which uses same motor as the eCitaro. So I wanted to recreate the original motor sound of the eCitaro and split this mod so that players in Taiwan and around the world can enjoy sounds closer to the buses in their own countries.

成運是台灣自有國產巴士品牌，這輛車與遊戲中賓士ecitaro(ecitybus)使用同款輪邊馬達所以理論上應該聲音應該差不多
未來THE BUS官方將新增的電動巴士Solaris Urbino IV electric這個系列的部分車輛也採用同馬達也與台灣一樣部分車型馬達是其他公司的因此如果新車能使用這個聲音我也會盡量讓這個聲音使用在新車上。

常見的客運公司有高雄漢程客運、桃園機場巡迴巴士、國光嘉義市公車(包含單門短軸MB090NSE)、宜蘭國光、大台北國光 (橘色塗裝)、彰化客運、首都集團；
但在2024年末成運同車款已改用國產東元電機SRPM馬達，例如:新竹市先導公車(EAL-5100~EAL-5110)、以及欣欣客運新的一批車。
