Achievement: Expensive taste (easiest way)

This is most easiest way to do this achievement. If you meet requirments, then its piece of cake

Requirements

* You need to be at least lvl 28 (preferably 30)
* No ACID weapon ( I recomend something fast firing, or Flame laser)
* 88 Moonstones
** Acid imunity shield optional

How to do it ?

A, Go to Serenity´s Waste, to this location:



It´s lava tunel, you can go inside. Dont worry about damage, even if you walk right into the lava, its no big deal.
After short walk you will find the hole, jump there


You will find there a big Karaggon - IWAJIRA (quite easy fight). After the fight, there is chance for this drop:



I got 3 Rocket Launchers from 8 bossfights ( So, its fair to say, that droprate is something around 33% ? ). Plus Around 20 - 25 Moonstones per fight as a bonus.

All you need to do is farm at least 2x Rocket Launcher (preferably lvl 28, it might be lvl 26 too).

Go to the Grinder in Concordia and put inside 2 rocket launchers, with one desired purple weapon (highest lvl preferable).
Keep in mind, that if you put inside purple RIfle, you will get legendary rifle, in my case I put these:



* Use 88 Moonstones for a grind. You should have plenty from Iwajira boss fight.
* As you can see I put inside 2x lvl 28 weapons and 1x lvl 32 weapon (28+28+32 = 88 / 3 = lvl 29 weapon)

they maybe fix it. Or it was my luckiest day in Pre-Sequel, who knows...

As dys suggests, the drop rate is VERY MUCH lower than you describe. I went from level 27 to 33 doing nothing but killing this boss and got exactly 1 of the legendary weapons. For me drop rate was something like 1/50. So 3/8 is probably a very rare outlier (as mine may be on the low side.)

I think you may have just gotten lucky. I only got one in over a dozen runs.
