Required items
Before we get into the actual guide, here is a list of items that you WILL need.
  • A rocket launcher
  • A maximum of 2 brancells
Entering the backrooms
Now that we've mentioned everything you need for this, time for step 1!

You will obviously have to enter the backrooms first, (which, if you unironically want to do, what is wrong with you?) the best method of doing this is running straight at a wall as fast as you can. (WARNING! Failing may result in:
  • severe head trauma
th-that's it, what did you expect?)
Level 0
Once you've done this you will appear in level 0, an infinite maze of yellow walls, moist carpet blah blah blah you've heard this like a million times before. In order to escape the backrooms you will first have to leave level 0, which in order to do, you'll have to noclip again. This will send you to level 1
Level 1
Level 1 resembles an abandoned (like usually in the backrooms) parking lot. This level has a lot of items that can be found, so i'd reccomend stocking up for the long journey ahead. This level has a lot more entities than level 0 so be careful as well. Exiting this level is simple, just walk in a direction until pipes and dials start appearing. Follow them and you'll end up in level 2.
Level 2
(no image here cuz i couldnt find any ones that were small enough)
Level 2 is an array of maintenance halls. The walls are commonly covered in pipes and other stuff that i honestly dont feel like listing out here. in order to exit this level find an unlocked door, wanderers often leave markings near doors to show to which level the door leads usually by putting the level number above the door. Look for a door with 4 written above it. This will lead you to level 4.
Level 4
(no image here either since the image just wouldn't upload)
Level 4 is an empty office building, this is one of the safer backrooms levels so it's a good idea to rest here and restock again. In order to exit, find a staircase and pray that you dont end up in level 6 since level 5 will make this much faster.
Level 5
(no image for the same reason as level 2)
Level 5 is an infinite hotel complex that looks like it was built in the '30s. I won't talk about this one much, i've spent a lot of time on this guide already. In order to exit, find a dark, wooden door. This will lead you to level 9.
Level 6
This section exists because the exit from level 4 i talked about can lead you here too.
Level 6 is completely dark, and eerily quiet. Meaning there are no pictures of the level.
Now, since i honestly don't exactly understand what wikidot is saying here i'll just paste the exits from the website. Exploring deep enough into Level 6 can lead to a stairwell down to Level 7. The easiest way to find this stairwell is to listen for the faint sound of waves. Taking a wrong turn at an indeterminate point in the level may block off access to Level 7 and, indeed, the entrance back to Level 5. For the sake of this guide, you want to get to level 5.
Level 9 (and finally escaping the backrooms)
(oh hey! finally got an image that works!)
Level 9 resembles suburbs, there is A LOT of entities here so we want to act fast.
You have to rocket jump [survival not guaranteed] with that rocket launcher i talked about at the start, this will launch you upwards, and you will break through the invisible but very existing ceiling of the level (this only works on levels with outside areas). Doing that will send you to...

The middlerooms. I never said you'd return to reality again.
