Description

This ship is warm and soft inside :)

These 'bioships' are manufactured by growing a specialized genetically modified organism (usually grown from human tissue samples) and encasing it in an inorganic mechanical shell, obtaining the benefits of both conventional and biological technology. Unfortunately while it is possible for warp drives to be mounted on such ships, it usually results in a significantly decreased lifespan for the craft. As a result, a majority of bioships do not have warp drives.

Depending on how well their operators maintain them, they can live up to around as long as an average house cat.

@Δ-k180 of course, I have already been working on another bio ship :) though it will probably be awhile before I release as it is much larger than this one

i personally like the concept of biomechanical ships, but there does not seem to be many such designs, so could you and others take it upon yourselves to develop this niche more.
