setup

go to this folder


copy the downloaded file to this folder, should look like this



right click it and extract here with 7-zip (if you don't have 7-zip in your right click menu, download it here: https://www.7-zip.org/download.html )



you should now have a folder called movement
double click it and it should look like this



now go back to your cfg folder and create a file called autoexec.cfg (if you already have one, skip this step)


add "exec movement/setup" to the bottom of the file

endless config setup (optional)

if you want your config to last forever (not breaking after a few hours)

create a file called "listenserver.cfg" in your cfg folder (if it already exists, skip this step)



add "exec movement/setup" to this file



with this setup, every time you go back to the lobby the config will automatically restart itself

put "exec movement/setup" at the end of ur autoexec

faq

where did the link go?
steam keeps removing the download link and putting it back, likely because of people falsely reporting this guide
if you can't see the link, check back in an hour or two and steam will probably have reinstated it by then

why can't i move my camera horizontally?
you likely tried a similar config before using this one, to fix it type this in console:
bind mouse_x yaw

can i get banned for using this?
i really doubt valve will ban anybody for using this, since all this config does is make your jumps a consistent height, and allow crouch-jumps without having to modify your keyboard
afaik no one was banned for using sv_cheats 1 in matchmaking, so it's very unlikely you'll get banned for using a config like this
