Introduction
Hello, I made this guide to help players in changing the stock crosshair of once human. I personally don't like the crosshair in game and this helped me to be even more better in PVP. The original stock crosshair can't be completely removed, but with the options given ingame menu it can be pretty much hidden. They are legal and not bannable.

For this guide you will need an overlay Crosshair v2(free) or Crosshair X (6 euros)[

Step 1, get one of these overlays:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2250040/Crosshair_V2/

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1366800/Crosshair_X/

Step 2, download it and run it.

Step 3, configure the crosshair you want, also don't forget to hide menu when you done.

Step 4, remove stock crosshair ingame and enjoy your new ''better'' crosshair :)

Esc - Settings - Scroll to bottom - Dynamic interface - Crosshor display - Never - Crosshair transparency - 50, thickness - 2.

ENJOY!

i was wrong about one thing, the "show in taskbar" flag has not been disabled, but everything else i said was spot on

or it runs another window which has the "always on top" flag enabled, and has the "show in taskbar" flag disabled that is just a transparent window except for a set of customizable pixels that are centered on the display with a separate and hidable configuration menu

Jesus, you talk like from middle ages, everyone knows about your marker, towel or monitor functions on crosshair and you use this for better shit and no it doesn't inject anything, stop commenting bullshit and try it first. It's not tied with a game, its tied with a monitor and you see that crosshair all the time, doesn't matter if u game or not.

some monitors actually have a crosshair feature built in, check around the settings you will be surprised!

ANy program that can show graphics or some sort of message on top of a game (steam overlay, discord, fraps, msi afterburner etc) has to inject itself into the directX dll of the game in order to be visible. Some games handle that fine some other games dont like that stuff and will be less stable. Does that program make any mentions of "hook" or anything like "directX version" If yes to any of the above then it is a dx-wrapper and could destabilize the game

if its a dark game i just chew on a micropscopic piece of napkin then stick it on the dot
Azark  [author] Aug 27, 2024 @ 11:46am
Probably very visible at dark areas

ive had a black marker dot on the center of my monitor for the past 20 years of my life, sometimes i wipe it off by accident then i put it back on. Just aim down the scope in ANY shooter game, and put the mark. Then every game you play after that will also work with the same crosshair its dope
