How to get 0:0.0 in the Chocobo Catcher Race

What you want to do:

You're going to want to get a minimum of 13 balloons and if possible , get hit by no birds at all (or 1 bird at most). If you manage to get under ~36 seconds with those two specifications, you can get the time of 0:0.0! This is obviously easier said than done, trust me. This minigame will make you want to burn a village to the ground. It'll take a while to perfect the race but hopefully this guide helps you a bit.

The first section

If you get lucky and some of the balloons are on the right side (your starting position), grab them. Make sure to get a minimum of 4 balloons in this section or else it'll be harder to get the perfect time. When you get to the corner, make sure you're not directly on it when turning else the Chocobo could be an idiot and run into the wall, making you lose precious time.

The second section

After the corner, the camera angle changes and you're now on the wide field of the Calm Lands, this is where things get difficult.
There will be birds coming at you and the trainer at fast speeds, they will track you down like a torpedo. The BEST WAY to avoid getting hit in this section is to NOT go left when avoiding them and instead tapping Right on the D-Pad or whatever key you chose to move to the right. DO NOT hold the button or key as the Chocobo will turn slower and you won't be fast enough to avoid those damn birds. You can also try to use the trainer as a shield but that is very risky and I do not recommend it unless you really know how to play this minigame.
Try to get a minimum of 4 or 5 balloons in this secton. NOTE: There is a balloon by where the birds spawn. If you feel risky or have really fast reaction speed, you can get this balloon, just be very careful when doing so.

The third section

The camera angle changes and you're closer to the goal. You should hopefully have 8 or 9 balloons and preferably no birds have hit you.
This part is also difficult but there's a trick here. Every set of birds will target either only you or the trainer. I can't remember if it's random or not. Basically, Set 1 of the birds will go after the trainer only and Set 2 will go after you only. It will repeat in whichever order you're getting. Use this to your advantage. You should not go right this time to avoid the birds and instead focus on going left, again, by tapping the button or key and not holding it.
Try to get 4 or 5 balloons here and you should have achieved 0:0.0!
