History:

BN-1 & BN-2:

The C&PRR needed large locomotives to handle the large amount of goods, so they tested a Allegheny from the C&O to test. the locomotive proved outstandingly on the trains, so they use an A Class Design from the N&W and done some modifications to the loco, in November of 1940, the BN-1s rolled out of the Baldwin Locomotive Works, numbered 4000 to 4030, they were really powerful, at 5 MPH, they have equal horsepower as the TMRX 7000 Class. They also bought a second batch of 2-6-6-6 Locomotives, these were named BN-2s, numbered 4031 to 4050 in 1948. unforchinetly they couldn't stop the rise of diesel power and all of the BN Class Locomotives were retired from service, although none of the BN-1s survived, 4 BN-2s Survived into preservation, 4031, 4034, 4050, and 4040, and 4040 has been restored by the TMEP in 2010, in 2011, 4040 moved under it's own power for the first time in over 50 years.

R-1a:
The railroad needed a passenger locomotive so they bought 30 Hudson locomotives in 1930, these were R-1As, numbered 5010 to 5039, the locomotives were EXTREMELY Successful, capable of 129 MPH, 3 MPH than the LNER's Mallard! All of the R-1As were retired from service, 1 survived into preservation, 5011 at the Oregan Heritage Railroad Center on static display.
