Play Midi on Piano

How to (somewhat) play midi files on the piano!

Required Software

Download the MIRP[greatcorn.github.io] (MIDI Input to Roblox Piano) software.

Once downloaded unzip the file and launch MIRP.exe

Binding the Keys

1. Click File > Create layout
2. Click Edit > Layout edit mode
3. Now assign the respective keys on the keyboard. Click the respective note, then press the letter you want to bind it to on your keyboard.

Sadly, it does not appear you can set a multi-key macro with this program. However, many songs still sound interesting using QWERTYU, so I personally recommend setting up the keys as if they were still using full macros.

4. Once finished, click Edit > Layout edit mode to toggle it back off.

If you did it correctly, your keyboard should look similar to the following image:

Play Your Midi Songs

You're all set!

Now go to File > Open Midi....
Click your Midi file and then make sure you're at a piano. Click the play button and tab into the game, you'll magically start producing aRt. Once you're done, just click the stop button.

You can play the default midi that came with the program, or download your own online! It's not the best solution, but it certainly does sound better than face mashing your keyboard. Who knows, maybe it can draw more customers in to your vending machine!
