Christian Flag

The Protestant Christian Flag that you will find in many Protestant congregations is generally put side by side with a U.S. flag as a counterweight or balance in sanctuaries. It's supposed to represent that dual tension we find ourselves in as both citizens of the Kingdom first, but also finding ourselves living in the world but not of the world. We recognize Christ as our King, but like Daniel, we also live peacefully in exile among our neighbors and actively bless those around us, setting a better example of what it means to people of God.

You will typically find these flags in Baptist and Methodist congregations in my personal experience, but it is very common to see them in others including Anglicans, Baptists, Congregationalists, Lutherans, Mennonites, Moravians, Presbyterians, and Reformed, among others.

Unfortunately, I've never found a flag of this that "looks good" as a wallpaper. This one isn't up to my standards either, but I wanted to get it out there for people to enjoy. I struggled to try to add texturing to this, definitely not a skill I am good at. I hope to revisit this wallpaper in the future.
