Description
Mods that add variants to the General model.

There are inconsistencies between the 2D illustrator and the physical model.
This is due to the fact that I haven't modified the 2D illustrator side, so please don't report bugs.
It will probably take me a long time to work on this, and I will update the 2D art when the time comes.

my fault. With the update the mods were disabled. Now works fine.

I'll double-check, but I don't think I can give you a meaningful answer because I haven't noticed the same thing in a few saves with 100 turns played.

since today`s hotfix there`s a bug setting textures to very low and making the game crash after a few turns

It can be used without required mod.
The reason there is a required mod is because this mode has had dependencies in the past that use data from that mode.

Can I use this and ignore the dependent mod, change porthole stance? I kind of dislike what it does

Thanks a lot for the quick troubleshoot. I seem I did have other mods that also affect graphics. I have tried your sorting and the issue persisted. So I tried disabling every other mods except those 3 mods. However, there is a mod I couldnt disable as it added more Cimmerian units, which I have recruited some, so the game crashes if I launch the campaign without that mod. Now I look at it, seems like the mod also changes general visual, perhaps it was what causing the conflict.

It's quite interesting.
Based on the screenshot, the axe is a Trojan axe, not the kind used by Urartians or Hittites on GEV or MCU.
Also, since the axe is black, I'm guessing you're using a mod with a rigid model, not a wsmodel.

Please try the following mod sorting.
Change Porthole Stand
General Extra Variant
Make Character Unique (same for no scripts version)
ETC.
I'm using the same sorting as above and haven't noticed any of the reported bugs.
If you are experiencing bugs with this sorting, I would recommend disabling those mods that are not graphics related.

Hi, thanks you a lot for this mod, I have been loving it so far. Though I have run into some issue that I figure I should tell you.
I have been playing as minor faction Crimean, with this mod, your porthole mod, your Make Character Unique No script mod and some other mods unrelated to character visual.
It has been working fine or a while, then just recently when I swapped some of my general's weapons and armors around, suddenly their appearance completely changed to some very generic looking models. And they are stuck that way even when I swapped their equipements back as I remember. I have even tried disabling all 3 mods and their appearance seems to be stuck that way.
