Checked it.
I'll be pushing out an update with a fix for this and other issues in the near future.
I feel like I already maintain enough mods and am up and running with updates to these mods, so any additional releases would be confusing for mod updates.
If your modified compatibility mod does not include any graphical assets from my mod, only the DB, and uses my mod for sorting, you can release it.
Also, if the alignment doesn't make your mod work properly, you can include the graphical assets. But please comment if you do.
I've checked, and the problem is that the data in the target mod is mostly vanilla data, not modified with only the necessary additions.
In my mod, I added officers and standard bearer by modifying the land_unit_table, so there is bound to be a conflict with a mod that modifies the same data table. If I placed my mod on top of the target mod, it would work fine.
If this mode modifies data for the same unit in another mode, it may cause a conflict and the Standard may not be visible.
Also, if you are using the Add Units mod, the Standard added by this mod will not be applied.
