Nevermind, I made some checks and there's nothing wrong with your mod, it's a general bug with animal feeder, because food generally compatible with both storages, AI just tends to carry everything to proper places is "Ditch items" enabled, and sometimes they just stuck in death spiral, trying to haul items to animal feeder, and if no space there - to food store, so they just put all my precious cornbread to feed animals and then stuck in endless loop of taking and putting back to food store.
Why items from your mod only in particular? I think it's just because of sorting, probably items from this mod just happened to be first to take for some internal algorithm (because of String Ids?). Because without this mod it seems they will do the same with other food supplies.
I think, I can patch it up for myself by restricting animal feeder to foul meat and animal feed only.
As for the overloading issue, that's something I couldn't really reproduce, and I've used the mod a lot. Do you have a corn storage bin, or just a food store?
