Baldwin 60000 Pack

Mô tả
Since there wasn't any 4-10-2's on Rolling Line i thought about making Baldwin 60000 to start with, so i did

History
Baldwin 60000 is a experimental 4-10-2 Steam Locomotive built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1926 during the Height of the Railroading Industry, it received its number for being the 60,00th Locomotive that was built by Baldwin, the locomotive also had the Watertube-Firebox, which is intended to improve efficiency, however, the tubes were prone to burst inside the firebox. 60000 was considered to be the best steam locomotive that Baldwin ever built in the American Railroading. Following the complete construction, her first test run was on the Pennsylvania Railroad, pulling a Freight Train between Enola & Morrisville. She was then sent to the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad until being sent to the Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad in 1927, While on CB&Q, they compare 60000's Tender with their M-Class Locomotives, and turns out that 60000 had proven a better efficient. Following the end of CB&Q, she was sent to the Santa Fe Railroad, unlike CB&Q. ATSF would compare 60000's Tender with the tender they currently using, and again, it turns out that 60000 had proven a better efficient. 60000 was sent to the Southern Pacific Railroad, SP would convert 60000 to burn oil, and then pull a Freight and Passenger Train. Following the test run, she was then sent to the Great Northern Railway, and after that. She was sent back to Baldwin and converted back to burning coal and used as a static boiler until 1933 when they donated her to the Franklin Institute of Science where she resides today.

i look through all images and websites, and they never mention about 60000 being painted into Royal Purple

I meant the olive green that Baldwin locomotives would be painted in if they were demonstrators, instead of gray like most railroads ordered. 60000 was special however, as she wore a Royal Purple out of the factory due to the fact she held such a status of engineering. Multiple forums from back in the day mention this in first hand accounts, and some models have even been produced with this coloring since. It hasn't worn these colors for nearly a 100 years, and as such most people who can vouch for it have since passed on or don't remember it anymore. There's also just not very much documentation on the cosmetics of 60000, which is surprising considering it was donated to the museum in the 1930s.

60000 never wore purple and the builders plate was never green

Baldwin Builder Green and the strange Purple livery it wore at some point. Information on the purple is very scarce but it did exist... for some reason.
