in this video, I play with my full mod list, all items are on the ground, you can see many, or say most of them are unable to trigger the mod feature, including so many vanilla items - simple meal, berries, and even woods.
my mod list: {LINK REMOVED}https://rentry.co/mnpwcw83
I will record a video to show you.
I respect you and mlie and all other mod revivers, we call you necromancers with wholehearted respect.
I understand the way to report mods one by one (trust me I know how to report properly, Ive help fixed many mods), but the feature this mod provides is so special, that if it has no "universal code solution for all mods", the route may lead to a CE-like ending that you have to patch 20,000 mods on the mod market. this seems "more impossible" for me (and for you). I say these words because I love the feature and I used it from 1.4 and test it many times and found so many mods unsupported, not only storage mods.
So in my case I recommended the mod to my friend and he tested it in almost basegame except Detailed Stats in Description, Replace stuff and CM Color Coded Mood bar. I saw him activate the mod, game restarted and he tried it, while I watched his discord stream but it didn't work. He is quite new to the game and I didn't yet play a 1.6 game myself but will do this probably today. Gonna include this mod in my big modlist so if it is working there, it should work on his end too but didn't today and we couldn't find out why in his almost vanilla game (without dlcs also).
Sorry again, wasn't my plan to frustrate you, just wanted to add something like a "+1" to the previous issue. Didn't even expect a reply.
I can't test everyone's mod list, and every mod on the Workshop. If you want to help, at the least you could provide your mod list. I suspect from other comments, it may be incompatible with a storage mod, but again I'm getting a lot of "not working" and not a lot of detail or assistance. Help me help you.
I noticed that in version 1.6, both ItemListSelector (Continued) and Toggleable Readouts (Continued) are not functioning, even though they worked fine in 1.5.
Hopefully the issue can be identified and resolved.
Thanks again for your mods!
But, I believe what we expect for, when seeing a mod like this, is a universal solution for all mods, rather than a partially functioning feature.
I mean, this kind of single feature QoL mod should cover all mods, existed and coming in the future, otherwise it just feels like not functioning at all.
