Who were the Doomers originally? Initially, a Doomer is another variation of the Wojak meme, one of the cult characters of Internet culture. The first warrior was a sketchy man with a sad expression on his face. That picture was found on the Polish imageboard Vichan called twarz.
Doomer. In September 2018, a Doomer meme appeared on the 4chan board /r9k/. It shows Wojak wearing a black hat and black jacket, smoking a cigarette. This archetype personifies the nihilism and depressive state of young people, usually representatives of generation Y.

What is Doomer music?
A certain symbol of this subculture is a meme character in the form of a “doomer” with a cigarette in his mouth. In these songs they usually sing about what is so familiar to a modern poor city dweller - garages, garbage dumps, panel buildings, Khrushchev buildings, devastation, hopelessness, sadness, regret and loneliness.
