Upcoming Changes & Last Updated Date
For returning users/those looking for a sheet that will reflect the update:
Literally everything after Dapper Delights-

Its been a hot minute, I picked up a new job and life has been hectic. That said, I will be updating it when I get a chance. Which is hopefully soon.

I apologize for it being so long.

What is it?
Boiled down to its essence, its a google sheet that I have spent a lot of time and energy making. Its basic functionality is to be a place where you can manually track your progress throughout the game at any given point and be able to quickly reference things like resources and recipes without having to open up the wiki.

(It should be noted that all the information I gather for this spreadsheet is actually collected from the unofficial player-made wiki- what I meant by the previous statement was that by using this sheet, you don't have to spend all your time searching for something on there.)

Unfortunately you have to input all data manually but I tried to make it as user friendly as possible. Eventually I would like to implement the resource as its own independent application so that it can update changes made to it so long as you are connected to the internet and possibly sync data from in-game, but that’s a goal for later down the line as it’s a hefty undertaking for one person. Perhaps it will get there though!

I do plan to expand and add additions to this resource as the game grows and changes, that being said- please be patient with updates as I am only one person. Also be sure to check for updates frequently. Favoriting this guide helps with that!!
Contents!
This resource has been designed so that future expansions and additions to the game can be added to the spreadsheet easily- that being said, please check back to see if I have updated the spreadsheet. [Also, another reminder to please be patient with updates as I’m just one person.]

This base template of this spreadsheet includes the following:

As of September 3rd, 2024

  • A Directory that lists every sheet in the collection as well as its functionality. [Added to the top of each sheet is also a link leading back to this directory for quick navigation.]

  • A Character Tracker Sheet that allows you to track each villager’s role, level, where you’ve put their house, whether you’ve had your daily discussion with them, and their daily favorite gifts. Included on this sheet is also their time schedules.

  • A Simple Task Tracking Sheet for crafting various projects or quests so that you can manually note how much of any material you need/not lose sight of whatever plans you have.

  • An Event Duties Tracker, this was mainly done so that you do not have to constantly reopen the in-game menu and can maximize your efficiency when completing your Star Path.

  • A Critter Tracker. Here we have every critter, their regions, how to obtain them, their schedule, their liked foods, and their favorite foods. You can also track whether you have fed them and whether you have achieved them as a companion.

  • A Resource Tracker. Sorted first by region and then by type, this sheet provides you with every resource that can be gotten in-game around the realms as well as various other information such as times, availability, cost, etc. (Alongside this is a dynamic Search Sheet wherein you can type the name of any resource- case sensitivity does not matter, nor does typing the whole name- and it will bring up every instance of that entry. Faster and more convenient than simply using ctrl+f.)

  • A Recipe Tracker. Along the same lines as the resource tracker. Recipes are sorted by star level and then by course, everything is alphabetical. Ingredients listed in red are bought exclusively from Remy. You can track whether you have cooked the recipe or not. (Similarly to the resource tracker there is a Search Sheet for the recipes as well.)

  • Memory Trackers There are two separate sheets, one for the journal memories (scrap pieces of paper you find around) and one for the orbs you collect through quests and activities. Both have the same purpose, to be a reference on where memories are/how to get them as well as being able to record if you have gotten/finished them. Those sheets are called; Journal Memory Tracker and Memory Shard Tracker respectively.

  • A Scramblecoin Tracker which lists all the figures, their conditions, entry points, movements, abilities, and obtainment methods. Coupled with this page is a Scramblecoin Opponents page that lists out every villager's fixed pieces as well as their ranking and allows you to track whether you have beaten them at least once. It also has a link to the exact cell the piece's information is fond on the previous page, allowing you to quickly reference as you strategize your next Scramblecoin victory!

  • A Profit and Expense Calculator that will tell you how much seeds will cost you per how many plots you have as well as the minimum profit you will receive from the harvest. There is also a pumpkin puff calculator since- as far as I’m aware, that’s still the most profitable long term dish.

  • And of course, a patch note sheet where I list out anything I updated on the entire spreadsheet.

More sheets will be added and/or updated as the game changes or I find alternative and better ways of sorting/tracking information. You can always check the patch note sheet to see what has been changed or added to the spreadsheets.
Scripts!!
SCRIPTS HAVE BEEN ADDED!

__________________________________________

The following has been implemented;

═════════•°• On the Characters sheet: •°•═════════

  • A checkbox titled "Hide Schedules" which whenever checked will hide the columns for "Sleep Times", "Chez Remy", and "Scrooge's Shop". When the checkbox is unchecked, it will show the schedules like normal.
  • A checkbox titled "Hide Have & Done". Much like the hide function for the schedules, this one hides the columns marked "Have" and "Done" respectively. The purpose of this is to make it easier to quickly go across and input all your villagers' daily favorites without having to tab across the checkboxes. Just like with the hide schedules, unchecking the checkbox will show the "Have" and "Done" columns once more.
  • A checkbox titled "Clear All Favorites" which when checked will delete all the text from the Daily Favorite cells and then uncheck itself automatically.
  • A checkbox titled "Clear All Checkboxes" which when checked will reset all the checkboxes in he "Have" and "Done" columns as well as the checkboxes in the "D.D" (Daily Discussions) column. After the process is complete, the checkbox unchecks itself automatically.

═════════•°• On the Critter Checklist sheet: •°•═════════

  • A script that features a checkbox titled "Reset Food & Fed Checkboxes". When the checkbox is marked, it will reset all dropdowns to their default setting of ' - ' and reset all the checkboxes in the "Fed" column without getting rid of the ones in the "Companion" column used for recording. When the operation finishes, the checkbox will uncheck itself automatically.

═════════•°• On the To Make sheet: •°•═════════

  • A script that features a checkbox titled "Clear All". When the checkbox is marked, it will clear all cells of data and then uncheck itself automatically. This is mainly for just making things a little easier on clean up.

═════════•°• On the Event Duties sheet: •°•═════════

  • A script that features a checkbox titled "Reset All". When the checkbox is marked, it will reset all dropdowns in "Event Duties" and "Location" columns to their default setting of ' - ' It will also clear all the data in the "Specify", "Number Have", and "Number Needed" columns. When the operation finishes, the checkbox will uncheck itself automatically. This preemptively sets you up for your next event.

═════════•°• On the Profit & Expense Calculator sheet: •°•═════════

  • A script that features a checkbox titled "Clear Expense". When the checkbox is marked, it will clear all data in the "Number of Plots" column and reset it back to 0. Afterwards, the checkbox will uncheck itself.
  • A script that features a checkbox titled "Clear Profit". When the checkbox is marked, it will clear all data in the "Number of Harvest" column and reset it back to 0. Afterwards, the checkbox will uncheck itself.
  • A script that features a checkbox titled "Clear Puffs". When the checkbox is marked, it will clear all data in the "Amount Needed" column and the "Number of Puffs" column and reset it the values back to 0. Afterwards, the checkbox will uncheck itself.
  • A script that features a checkbox titled "Reset All Data". When the checkbox is marked, it will clear all data in all previously mentioned columns and reset their values back to 0. Afterwards, the checkbox will uncheck itself.

The reason for each checkbox on this sheet being based on their respective categories instead of resetting all of the data altogether is simply in case someone wishes to only clear one set of data. But in case of needing to reset everything, that function has been included as well.

I may incorporate more scripts like this in the future to make life a little easier and faster for everyone but as of right now, this is what we have. These scripts should still work when making your own copy of the sheet and can be accessed through Extensions > Apps Script
From there you can make any changes you want to the coding I've done or see for yourself what I used to make it work.

Currently, all scripts work independently of one another but it does take a second to register and work so don't rapidly spam or click one checkbox after another. Wait for the operation to complete before marking the next one.
Why Did I Make This?
The answer is simple.

There aren’t that many free resources available for things like this, anything out is either usually not as detailed or if it is you have to pay for it and run the risk of it still not doing what you want it to. My spreadsheet is far from perfect, but I want to be able to put something out there multiple people can use and benefit from without making them pay or work for it. I’ve done the work for you, use it, enjoy it.

And maybe if this act inspires you, then make something for communities you enjoy too.

This started off as just a small project I had done to make things easier for my mom who enjoyed playing the game- I knew nothing about sheets, but I learned. I struggled and got frustrated often but I can honestly say that I am proud of what has come from it. All that in mind-
The Link!!
Yes, here it is. The aforementioned Tracker Spreadsheet.

If you enjoy it and it is useful to you, please share it around.

If you have suggestions or constructive feedback, you are more than welcome to share it. Any implemented suggestions will be added to the patch note sheet and credited to you for the idea.

Make a copy of the sheet for yourself and have fun! [docs.google.com]
