How to Access Inventory (USP-S & M4A1-S) and Community Servers in CS:GO

This guide will help you restore your inventory, including USP-S & M4A1-S, and the ability to play on community servers in CS:GO Legacy!

How to Access Inventory & Community Servers in CS:GO

As you know, following the latest update in csgo_legacy, players no longer have access to their inventories and are unable to play on community servers. This guide will help you restore both features!

1. Open the folder where CS:GO is installed and navigate to the csgo subfolder
2. Scroll down until you find the file named steam.inf
3. Open the file in Notepad
4. Change the line

 ClientVersion=1572 

to:

 ClientVersion=2000258 

And you're done! This will allow you to enjoy the legacy version without restrictions in case you cannot run CS2 or simply prefer the older version.

so if i play both of them like i play csgo for a while and then play cs2 afterthat is it gonna affect on any thing after this changes in steam.inf?
