Universal Trade Hub

Description

Ever felt frustrated by how trading works in the base game? Ever just wanted to order something from one spot at any time while not having to wait for a specific trader or sending out long-journey caravans to your nearest settlements? The Universal Trade Hub™ is designed to make your life easier. Now, you can simply use the Universal Trade Console™ to order almost anything from anywhere in the galaxy, with some additional fees of course.

  • Order anything (with exceptions) from anywhere with a powered console and orbital trade beacon.
  • Choose options for express delivery and insurance coverage for any order.
  • Low chance of your order getting attacked and lost in transit. If insured, your money will be refunded.
  • View active orders, information about them, time of arrival. Cancel active orders for a full refund if you change your mind.
  • Purchase subscriptions to reduce the total price of any order.
  • A highly configurable settings menu where you can adjust almost every aspect of this mod.

Q: What is the Universal Trade Hub™?
A: The Universal Trade Hub™ (UTH) is a premier interstellar trading platform that allows customers to order supplies, resources, and items from across the galaxy. To access this network, users must construct and power a specialized Universal Trade Console™ alongside an orbital trade beacon.

Q: Do modded items work?
A: Yes, modded items should be placed in their appropriate category within the Universal Trade Hub™ interface. Items not categorized correctly will likely be listed under "Other."

Q: How are delivery times calculated?
A: They're based on the sum amount of the weight of all items you have selected. For materials however, the delivery times are way lower.

Q: Why are taxes so high?
A: The total tax amount is based on a couple of factors: colony wealth and tax rate. By default, these values might not fully align with your expectations. Therefore, we've implemented a thorough mod settings menu where you can adjust them. For total tax adjustments, take a look at the "Wealth Multiplier" and "Tax Rate" sliders. To turn off tax rates based on the economic progression of your colony, set the "Wealth Multiplier" to 0%.

Q: No but really, [insert high number here] tax for a single piece of wood?
A: It's not for a single piece of wood, it's the overall tax for making an order. If you start adding more items you'll notice the total tax amount increment slightly based off whatever base value tax you have achieved according to your total colony wealth. UTH strives to provide the best service and the fairest conditions to all customers. We pride ourselves on setting an even playing field for all budgets.

Q: Can I cancel my order?
A: Yes, you can cancel any active order through the Universal Trade Console™ before it is delivered. A full refund will be processed immediately.

Q: Performance?
A: The Universal Trade Hub™ is optimized to have negligible impact on your performance.

Q: Can I translate this?
A: Absolutely!

Q: I have a bug report!
A: Post a detailed report in the dedicated discussion! Make sure to include steps to reproduce and a full log, otherwise we'll likely not be able to help.

Should be compatible with everything!

Safe to add and remove. You might get a couple errors if you had a console placed anywhere.

  • None so far.

Please report any bugs, but note that as I don't actively mod, I may not be able to address them all.

Is there an option to have the deliveries be more specific? For example, let's say I want steel armor only to be delivered. Is there a way to do that?

Excellent mod, though the ability to sell as well would be much appreciated! I need to make money to spend it!

I dont know it is a bug or not: when I adjust the price reduction of subscription and tax stuff to very low (like <2%), the cost starts to showing Nan and I cant purchase anything at all. Even if I adjust it back up, it still would show the same result. Any idea how to solve it?

Silver should be removed from the buy list.
as mentioned by @qwe5n, the subscription and ordering of silver is OP.

Can I subscribe to trade automatically at fixed intervals?
If it is possible, that would be great

so theres a thing with this mod... subscription decreases all prices by 40%. gold & silver default costs are 10 & 1 silver.

road to 1kk wealth: buy subscription, order silver, repeat. price of silver & gold should be decreased. overall, very good mod
