introduction
To eliminate a headcrab optimally and efficiently in Half Life Black Mesa we will need a single object that can be difficult to obtain in normal circumstances but after the events of the resonance cascade we will find a good number of skulls from the Black Mesa staff in all of the installations
Step one
Step one is to get a skull, again, it can be difficult to find one as if it were a skull from the Halo saga, but here I will leave you two simple ways to get a skull:

1.- Give an active grenade to your closest lab partner or security guard, it may seem a little immoral but having the ultimate weapon to eliminate those crafty crabs is worth it
Once the grenade has exploded, it will be enough to search among the remains of the personnel to find a skull
(note: I just checked the grenade method and realized that the Black Mesa staff refuses to let us use their skull as a weapon, so as a punishment I suggest they use their grenades anyway)
that will teach them to share body parts for survival on Black Mesa)

2.- shoot one of those slugs that hang from the ceiling, these friendly little friends usually have the Black Mesa staff in their diet, 3 to 5 shots with a glock pistol that you will kindly take from your nearest security guard will be enough
Search through the remains dropped by the hanging slug and hopefully you will have your skull ready to eliminate headcrabs.
Step two (hardliest part)
Finally, step two consists of grabbing our skull (with the e button) as if it were an Olympic bullet, aiming at that evil headcrab and throwing the skull with all your strength (or pressing the left click would also work)

When the skull has impacted that powerful adversary, you will see that the headcrab that has tormented you for a long time will have two possible endings:
or simply after receiving the impact it will fall into the inert soil
or explode because the universe has decided that our little friend will explode into several pieces
Conclusion
and this is how to eliminate a headcrab optimally
I know it was extremely complicated but I assure you that that demon crab will no longer move
I hope this short guide has been useful to you on your journey through Black Mesa
Share if you have managed to eliminate your nemesis by this way

(if the headcrab moves after the first impact, repeat step two)
