解説
I hated that ghouls, mechs, and animals couldn't perform Search and Destroy in TacticOwl, while they could in the "Search & Destroy" mod, so I made this patch to change that!

This small patch adds compatibility between TacticOwl and Mechanoids, Ghouls, and Animals. There is a weird interaction with VFE Insectoids 2: you can't SnD with hive insects, but you can with tamed insects like the Empress.

You don't need to unsubscribe from any version of TacticOwl; just load this after it. You DON’T need to have both DLCs for this mod; you can use it for any of them or for both.

Tacticowl is responsible for deciding how and when to attack.

As the original mod states: Tacticowl (temporary beta). It’s not in a complete state, so there will obviously be some bugs, especially since it was continued.

To avoid issues, you can install Simple Sidearms, Run and Gun, Search and Destroy, and Dual Wield separately.

If a pawn isn’t moving (this happens with colonists too), just wait for a few seconds, and they should move again. Alternatively, you can turn the Search and Destroy module off and on and they will start moving.

it does, and that should be a problem of tacticowl itself, since this mods use the same code as tacticowl to Patch the ThinkTreeDef of the Ghouls/Mechs, this mods has nothing to do with the way the IA decides when to attack or not

It doesn't attack enemy mechanoids, it just stands still.

Also with this mod patch you dont need to have both of them, you can have either 1 or none, and it would still work, since both patches are only effective if the required DLC is present Anomaly/Biotech

It would be a little redundant having none of the dlc and this mod, but it would not cause any error

You should check the preview in the linked Search and Destroy, thats how how this works too
