Misc. Training Medieval Retexture

Description

Medieval Rimworld is a peak Rimworld. This is a simple mod that retextures the legendary Misc. Training to give it a more medieval flair and make it fit more next to textures from Medieval Overhaul. There already many great retextures of this mod but I found them too industrial looking. It also makes slight changes to the materials needed to make it fit my vision more.

Make sure you have the original mod or the no task version installed! Both of them work

Misc. Training: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=717575199&searchtext=misc+training

Misc. Training (no Task): https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2779572925&searchtext=misc+training

Remember that for the retexture to work you need to put it AFTER the original mod in your mod list.

A: Is this mod x compatible?
B: It’s a simple retexture with a small patch. I think it should work fine with any mod that was already compatible with the Misc. Training

A: Can I add it into an ongoing save?
B: Now there is an issue. Due to me changing the stuffables accepted by the training dummies you might experience undesired visuals. For example, if your save has a dummy made out of dog leather then if you add my mod the wooden part of it will be yellow as the building retains its material. It shouldn’t break the game in any way though

A: What mods were used in the showcase image?
B: Everything in the screenshot comes from Medieval Overhaul. Great mod. I really recommend it

I would also be forever grateful if this changed the ones from Medieval 2.

or maybe just "taking a few shots" or "practicing aim"

I would love to see this patch Misc Training's "shooting a few bullets" to arrows

Thats fine! I mean heck itd make more sense for us to swap lower quality medieval targets with more sturdy material modern ones, so works for me! Anyway, thank you so much!

@Lemaia Borb I don't think it should break anything. But note that my mod changes the materials accepted by the buildings. For example you can make a shooting target out of wood with my retexture but you couldn't with base mod. So if you go back to the industrial textures then the part of the building that changed colours based on the leather used will use the colour of wood. Might look funny with some materials but won't break anything as far as I know.

I know it says safe to remove from a save, but is it safe to swap retextures mid playthrough? Doin a generations colony and wanna use these retextures but also got one thatll work better in the industrial era and such, so wanna know if i can safely swap between em when the era arrives

Just an update for anyone who got the same problem. I didn't do anything but it managed to fix itself, maybe the check update worked, thanks!

I got Rimpy as well just in case, but it sort of fixed the texturing issue before I figured out how to use it
