Description
A rodent (Gerbil) ball for SVG. My second attempt with Blender.

cool - so the sculpting function is a bit like pulling plasticine?! v cool - I can see how that would be really useful vs modelling in detail in some cases

Hi Jag, thanks!

I used a photo as a visual guide but nothing imported. It's a combination of texture colouring MH kindly advised me on and hand painting, from scratch.

I'm still at a low level with Blender where I'm using sculpt mode to "pull" out the feet and tail, rather than modelling them from meshes but I'll get there!

It's really good. Did you start with a photo import or something, or is it hand drawn from scratch? It's pretty convincing, for a ball! And looks almost kinda digitised somehow. Agree with MH comment on shading - most excellent!
