1 - Turn on the 1080p+ resolution in the launch settings
-sfm_resolution 1080 -w 1920 -h 1080

Your resolution can be different
Your framerate can be different yes, I know that SFM is bad with 60fps
Frame range - End (NUMBER OF HOW MANY FRAMES YOU HAVE RENDERED IN SFM)
Output - Anywhere you like
File format - FFMPEG
Encoding - MPEG-4
Video Codec - H.264
Quality - Whatever you like. BUT Lossless has colossal filesize compared to Perceptually Lossless


5 - Select your images. Press "A" on keyboard to select them all (NOT CTRL+A)
END FRAME MUST BE EXACT NUMBER OF IMAGES. SFM STARTS NAMING FILES WITH 0.
YES YOU HAVE TO TYPE END FRAME NUBMER TWICE

Correction: I think it's when the file is larger than a certain MB threshold, as opposed to length. My bad! Feel free to re-correct me.

Because unfortunately, .mov files can be quite buggy, especially with SFM. If your footage corrupts, you will have to render it all over again, with no guarantee that it'll work. And if it's longer than 3 seconds(? it may even be shorter than that), then it simply won't render properly at all. Rendering as an image sequence lets you edit/remove/replace any corrupted frames very easily, and also makes the process of editing it in other software much easier.

It may seem counter intuitive, but it is exactly what is commonly done in the industry for this reason. Plus, it also means that you can stop rendering at any time and still have the previous frames rendered out. Such as if you spot an error past a certain point, or simply don't have the time or processing power to handle rendering something!
