FS Carrozze Ctcr

ITALIANO

Si tratta di carrozze di terza classe, a terrazzini, costruite per la ex società Rete Adriatica, poi confluite in FS. Hanno prestato servizio per le ferrovie dello stato dal 1905 al 1933; successivamente, queste vetture sono state acquisite dalle Ferrovie del Sud Est. Hanno svolto servizio fino al 1961. Una di queste vetture, la 454, venne trasformata in vettura di servizio, terminando la carriera nei primi anni 90.

La medesima carrozza è stata restaurata, nel 2013, ad opera del Museo Ferroviario Pugliese (che la custodisce tutt'ora).

These coaches are third class wagons, with terraces, built for the former Rete Adriatica company, which then merged with FS. They operated for FS from 1905 to 1933; subsequently, these cars were acquired by the South Eastern Railways (FSE) and had been used till 1961. One of these cars, the 454, was transformed into a service car, ending its career in the early 90s.

The same car was restored in 2013 by the Pugliese Railway Museum (which still owns it).
