Description
Having trouble aiming your revolver at a zombie 1000 feet away only to miss the target? Mount a 4x scope on it to solve the first half of the problem! Having too much ammo but reloading impedes your combat performance? Drum magazine to the rescue!

With the help of weapon attachments, you now get to customize NMRiH's realism to a whole new level!

Attachment Types
Choke: Boosts weapon damage while costing stamina, also makes every shot stagger;
Muzzle brake: Boosts rate of fire while reducing weapon damage;
Grip: Boosts reload speed;
Drum mag: When attached to a gun, the gun directly consumes ammo from inventory while shooting, removing the need to reload till all ammo is depleted. (Requires at least 1 bullet loaded to shoot);
Scope: Adds a scope to see further when ADS, because why not. (Model override needs to be enabled.)

Mod Compatibility
The viewmodel & sound feature of this mod does not work with other mods involving model and sound replacement. If you decide to keep both on, set sv_attachment_enable_viewmodel_override to 0.

If you are playing locally or hosting a listen server, add "sv_attachment_enable_viewmodel_override 0" in listenserver.cfg, located in nmrih\nmrih\cfg\ (create one if none exists);

If you are running a server, add "sv_attachment_enable_viewmodel_override 0" in server.cfg, located in nmrih\nmrih\cfg\.

Attachment Compatibility
- Scope cannot be mounted on Jae700, M16 with scope and Sako with scope.
- Muzzle brake can't be mounted if choke has been mounted on.

How to add/remove attachment to/from gun?
Say if you have a fa_m92fs handgun and a drum magazine in your inventory, how do I attach the drum mag to the handgun?

Equip the m9 handgun, open up your inventory, click the drum mag icon, it should then be attached! The drum mag's inventory name should now have "[fa_m92fs]" appended to its name.

To remove the drum mag from the m9, click on the drum mag icon again, it should then be detached. The "[fa_m92fs]" should disappear from the drum mag's name.

Some weapons can't be attached with certain attachments, so the above wouldn't happen, such as fa_sako can't be added a scope as it already has a scope on the base gun.


This mutator, with Custom Loot library, will spawn weapon attachments in any map like regular loot.

@Tsukasa Sato , mod updated, viewmodel animation glitch & worldmodel collision bug are fixed, assuming these will resolve reloading issue, server issue and the subterranean clipping issue. Not sure what you mean by "attachments detach spontaneously", there is a cvar called sv_attachment_coexists_with_weapon, it needs to be "1" for attachment to stay on weapon when dropped.

Following the 1.1.4.1 update, a critical issue has been identified: initial weapon attachment installation prevents magazine reloading, with server-side operations carrying a risk of server crashes.Additionally, post-attachment installation, thrown firearms exhibit physics anomalies including erratic floating or subterranean clipping. In some cases, attachments detach spontaneously, entering a visually degraded state mimicking equipment damage.

How can I keep "sv_attachment_enable_viewmodel_override" to 0?
Kinda annoying to load the mutator and a map, hit my keybind, then restart the map just for mod compatibility.
