Introduction
Thanks for clicking on my Cursed Lands of Lavernock guide! I recommend playing through the map at least once first, as it does provide you with direction for the first half of the story and it's quite fun! :)
Main Objective
01 - Destroy the Power Generators

Open the door in spawn that is across from the weapon buys. Run down the hill until you get to the house, open the door, and the first generator is on your left.




Exit the first house and run straight forward. The next generator is to the left of the well.




In the house in front of the electrified gate, run up the stairs and go onto the balcony. The generator is to the right.




Left of the electrified gate, you can find the last generator against the house.


02 - Acquire the Four Cylinders
02 - Hero (Morgue)
I typically do this cylinder first as you need to farm enemies to complete it. It's a good cylinder to build up points and move quickly through the early rounds, but if you're trying to keep the rounds low, I'd save this one for later.






The steps for the Hero cylinder are straightforward, all of your work will be focused around this furnace. When you have to use the enemy's fireball attack to light the furnace, you can use the same enemy repeatedly to get it lit. Be careful if you have multiple enemies throwing fireballs, as they can explode each other and end the round/your run if you aren't on top of things.




When you've finished farming enemies to add fuel to the fire, this location will open up and you'll be able to grab the cylinder.


02 - Siren (Library)
After you've grabbed the lantern, you need to return to the library area to enter in a secret code. You can find hints for the code on the walls using the lantern.




If you're running from the Main Chamber (Pack-a-Punch area), the first hint will be on the left before you go up the stairs to the perk in the painting.




The second hint is at the top of the stairs on the right side in a painting.




The third hint is to the right of the puzzle in the painting.




Once you've noted all three hints, rotate the corresponding numbers in the combination lock to the correct symbols. If the puzzle isn't automatically completed, rotate the final number until it opens for you and you can grab the cylinder!


02 - Cerberus (Woodlands)
This cylinder requires farming enemies in the final step, so if you are trying to avoid flipping rounds, I'd recommend saving this one until you have done the other non-farming cylinders.

After you've interacted with the lamb in the cage, you'll need to shoot and destroy each of the four statues.

Instead of running around to see each statue, you can keep your crosshair looking straight forward and look around in a full circle. A health bar will show up when you hover over a lit statue, allowing you to shoot and destroy it through the darkness.




When all of the statues have been destroyed, there will be a puzzle you need to complete. Go back to the center of the Woodlands and look at a side of the cage as pictured above. Note what symbol is shown, then run straight away from the cage to the corresponding statue for that side.




When you're at the statue, you have to rotate it so the inner statue is facing the symbol. In this example I ran from from the Medusa symbol on the side of the cage, so I turned the statue to face the Medusa symbol.




When you have rotated the statue to the correct position, the symbol on the cage will light up and you can begin moving the next statues until you have completed all four.




After you free and escort the lamb to the Old Chapel (Spawn), you will need to farm kills to get the cylinder.


02 - Medusa (Farmlands)
After you've picked up the Thunderbolt, you are required to shoot four metal scarecrows to advance. They are oriented in a compass-like fashion, with one of each being north, west, south, and east. When running around, you should be able to see some reflective/glowing metal in some of the scarecrows.




You can orient yourself to find this scarecrow by focusing on the position of the moon in the screen. If you line it up to the same location in your game, you can walk forwards/backwards until you run into the scarecrow.




This scarecrow is in front of the shed with the weapon buys and door to go underground.

The final scarecrow is right near the entrance to the Farmlands from the town area. You can orient yourself to find this scarecrow by looking at the entrance to the Farmlands on the left side of the screenshot.




After you've followed the remaining steps for the cylinder, you'll be able to pick it up and move on!


03 - Open the Vault Door...
The guided objectives hold your hand from here to the boss fight... I've had great results using the Sie Rogotti, so good luck!


Hidden Objective
01 - The Machine

After you have defeated the boss, to the right of the interaction you can use to end the game, you need to interact with the machine and shoot the stranger to start the hidden objective.


02 - Stranger Danger
Now that you have shot the first stranger, you need to run around the map and shoot three more in random locations.

I've provided the locations in what I've found to be the most efficient order to search for the strangers, so run from location to location in this order.

The stranger isn't too hard to spot with the help of the screenshots, as you should be able to see his glowing purple in the dark.




The first location is as you're leaving the Broadcast Room from the boss fight. In the Main Chamber, behind the Super Charger machine, you might be able to see the stranger peering over the rocks.




From the perspective of running up the stairs from the boss fight location, you have to take the exit on the right of the Super Charger room (Main Chamber) and look for this spot in the laboratory. It is in the same side room as the final step for the Medusa cylinder.




Run back to the Main Chamber and take the other exit through the Morgue. Go to the surface from the Morgue exit (take first left when entering Morgue from the Main Chamber, then take a right in front of the weapon buys and follow that hallway up) and scan the woods on the left side of the Farmlands for the stranger.




In the Farmlands, keep running the opposite direction from the underground entrance and take a right into the main town area where you had destroyed the four machines at the start of the game. The stranger might be in the house to the left of where the electrified door was in the upstairs window.




Go into the house on the left of the house with the upstairs window location and exit through the other side. The stranger may be in the left window in the inaccessible house that will be on your right.




If you have lost your bearings, to find the stranger in the left window of the inaccessible home, you can also run through this exit from spawn and you will encounter the house.




Finally, the stranger may be in spawn. He could be high up to the left of the flaming bird.



When you've shot all of the strangers, a distinct audio cue will play and you can move on to the next step.


03 - Rats, Statues, and Symbols
This step requires knowledge of four symbols and their associated numbers to complete. When you have searched around enough and found three symbols with their associated numbers, you can move on to the end of this step and brute force the last symbol.




To begin this step, you must run to the Library (same location as the lamp step with the combination lock) and interact with the statue head.

Be careful, as interacting with the statue head will spawn enemies around you.



Now we will need to run around the map and look for glowing purple symbols on the ground. The symbols will have dead rats next to them.

You will need to write down or take a picture of the symbol and the number of dead rats next to it, as it will correspond to numbered statues that we need to display the symbols on later.

I have ordered these screenshots in the order I search for them, so if you want a set, semi-fluid route, follow the order of the locations below.



Starting from the boss area and upwards, the first location is at the bottom of the stairs that lead to the boss fights.



This location is in the broadcast room, where you had to shoot the annoyingly beefy orange things that hide to open up the boss battle.




The next location is in the Main Chamber, near the Super Charger.




Also in the Main Chamber, look for the Ammo Blamo machine. The next location is in the doorway to the right of the machine in the far corner.




From the perspective of running up the stairs from the boss fight location, you have to take the exit on the right of the Super Charger room (Main Chamber) and look for this spot in the laboratory. It is to the right of the perk and to the left of the red doorway, across the room from the Ammo Blamo machine.




Go up the stairs in the laboratory and head right to the Broadcast Room. You may see rats in the middle of the room.




Run back through the Main Chamber and take the exit on the other side that will lead you to the Morgue. Go to the furnace you interacted with earlier for the cylinder, and you may see rats in the wooden hallways to the left.




If you get back to the surface by taking the Morgue exit (turn right at the weapon buys, then turn left towards the town), turn into the Farmlands and you may see rats in the grass.




Head to Lavernock Point (the town area where you destroyed the generators near the start), and then you can enter the building with the Elixir of Life where you may see rats on the table next to the perk.




From the Elixir of Life enter the Woodlands area where you shot the statues/freed the lamb to escort. The location is near the Ammo Blamo machine.




Next to Ammo Blamo is a hatch to go underground, hop in there and you may see rats in front of the machine that you'll have to power up later (in the hallway).




The next location is in the Old Chapel, in front of the weapon buys.



The last location I have found is in the Chapel Grounds. You can orient yourself using the green light and the moon to pinpoint the spot.

Please note that this may not be an exhaustive list of spawn locations for this step. If you know of any other spawns, please leave a comment below and I will update the guide.



Once you have found three locations, head back to the spawn room and enter the Chapel Catacombs. If you haven't opened the door to spawn through the Chapel Catacombs yet, you can get to the Chapel Catacombs by going through the tunnel in the Woodlands area (where you escorted the lamb from), straight all the way up the Cavern, and then you'll make it to the Chapel Catacombs.

As you can see, there are four statues with numbers on them. Align the numbers with the symbols you saw on your adventures, and when done, you will hear a distinct audio cue letting you know you have completed the step and can move on. Remember that you can brute force the fourth symbol, so keep rotating the cylinder until you get it.


04 - The Shock Race
I have heard that this step is timed, but I've never not completed it in time. If you follow this route you should be good, but if you don't here the audio cue indicating that you've completed the step, start over and run the route again.

I've ordered the locations of the machines you need to power in an efficient route, so follow along location by location for the best results.

Please note that the Thunderbolt weapon is required to complete this step. If you don't currently have it, you can find it where you got it initially in the Farmlands for £2000 or by getting lucky with the box.

You will need to run around and shoot the cylinders in five machines across the map until they are glowing and spinning to move on to the next step.




On the side away from spawn, near the statues in the Chapel Catacombs is the first machine. You must activate this one before you can do the others.




Run away from the Old Chapel (spawn) and go down to the bottom of the Cavern. The first machine that you need to power up is at the end of the hallway you enter.




Turn around and run back up the Cavern. At the top of the Cavern, the next machine will be in your first right.




Run through spawn and take either exit to head towards Lavernock Point (the town area). When you are there, go upstairs in the building where you destroyed the machine on the balcony (the house in front of where the door was electrified). The machine will be to the right of the machine you destroyed, inside the house.




From the balcony, jump down and go right through the doorway that was once electrified. Take an immediate left through the Farmlands and take the tunnel down to the Laboratory. The last machine is in the same room where you did the final step for the Medusa Cylinder.



When you have properly powered all machines, you will hear a distinct audio cue to let you know you can move on to the next step.


05 - VIP Escort

To begin this step, return back to the Chapel Catacombs that housed the statues and a machine you had to power up. The gate that was once previously closed will now be open. You have to escort this lamb safely to the destination.




When you make it to the destination, the lamb will open up a doorway for you to explore.


06 - The Finale

Enter the tunnel that was opened up for you at the end of the last step, head to the bottom, and pick up the seal on the podium. The dragon will not hurt you, but picking up the seal will trigger enemy spawns, so be prepared.

Follow the steps the game provides you to the final boss! The final boss is the same as the first, but more enemies (including Abominations) spawn and he has a new ranged attack. The lit floor now deals a significant amount of damage, so avoid it whenever possible.

Escort the Lamb to slaughter in under 2 minutes

Incredibly easy to do early game, with one zombie, or if you are good at controlling hordes.


Run Forest! Run!
Complete Cursed Lands of Lavernock under 30 minutes.

This is only referring to the main objective. You do not have to complete the hidden objective for this achievement.

When you are on the cylinder step, do the Hero (Morgue) and Cerberus (Woodlands) cylinders first to farm up some money and get through the earlier levels quickly.

Work on the objectives during the rounds and you can get this achievement quite easily, I had a large margin on my fast run.


Last Rites
Defeat Abraham.

Simply follow the map's objectives.

Thanks man. I got stuck at the part where you use the thunderbolt to shoot the cylinders. I knew they were important but I kept shooting the lightning bolt icon on the machines rather than the cylinders until I gave up and tried looking it up but every damn guide on the internet is just showing how to do the main objectives then beat Abraham.

Great guide, helped me get the pesky dolls too.
