Apocalypse Challenge x15 Encouragement

Why Write This?

I just wanted to share that it finally happened 😭 The Miracle Run came true for me too!!!

I've been trying for so long and when I was just about ready to give up. I looked at my objectives and said " F*CK IT! " went in with a smudge, a lighter, a headcam, and a camera and stood at the doorway thinking " COME AT ME DEOGEN! "

AND BY GODS WILL IT DID 😭 YOU GUYS I WAS SHAKING BUT IT WAS FOR REAL A DEOGEN.

My Life Story

I have so much I want to say. so beyond this point if you're uninterested or just really not into reading any of that. Please ignore.

1. I'm a scaredy cat, I don't play horror games. But I did try Phasmo when it was new and simple. But that was also with a friend who carried me. I can never do it solo.

Right now. My son took an interest. And sometimes he would ask me why I don't play anymore. Or why don't I try playing again. And I always answer. Well I'm too scared for Phasmo now.

2. Recently I've been into completing steam achievements. Wanting to perfect a few games of mine when I saw that Phasmo was around 46/54 already. So close!

Turns out. He was missing the prestige II and III . The weekly challenge 5 and 10 times. The 3 Apocalypse Trophy and 1 hidden (get killed by a demon within a min - my son said)

3. So this got me thinking. HOW HARD CAN THE APOCALYPSE TROPHY BE? plus. I found out that even If I only get the x15 it awards all three. Sounds easy enough hmm...

You better believe I watched a lot of YT vids and you better believe I knew I was f*cked.

4. But did that stop me? Let's just say I also saw a lot of people getting lucky with the Deo and thinking. Ohhh... if its that then I can definitely do that.

Cause lets face it. I don't know sh!t about footstep sounds and I don't have the guts to walk past the Foyer & Manager office.

As you can tell I didn't even get the Ghost Photo the first try!

Memorable Moments!

Here I want to say a few memorable moments for me.

1. It hunted straight towards me and somehow I was able to throw the level three incense. I saw the ghost turn from a man to an old man (That time I didn't know it was an Obake) it was amazing to see for the first time even if I did die thinking WHAT GHOST DOES THIS?!

2. I was holding the parabolic mic and thought this could be it! this could be my deogen! Because I heard it coming straight towards me fast, and then slow. Like really real slow. And then somehow when it sounded fast again I knew I just got juked by a Mimic. I Died waiting. waiting for my deogen.

3. I put a firelight by the connecting corridor because it was an objective. My son said that it won't go out unless the ghost did it. After the first hunt while I was walking out the door I kept asking him why did it turn off? We were confused because we heard the ghost hunting from far away with the parabolic mic. The second I went back in it hunted by the firelight. it was the Twins.

4. I went it. used the Parabolic mic. couldn't hear much footsteps but there was a few throw sounds here and there. went out. Put in Myling and left. Somehow I got it right!

5. I got to the piano inside the chapel. This is the farthest I can go. used the Parabolic mic and heard the ghost running around the courtyard. it even had all these scary demon sounds and it was hella fast. a few more hunts later I thought it was coming towards me! 'cause it suddenly went to the right side door (yes I heard the door!) and then it felt like it went around reaching the entrance corridor! I threw the mic. squat walked around the middle of the chapel aisle when thank god it stopped. I ran out of that hands shaking, heart beat pumping and all.
Turns out it was a Thaye.

I know I'm not the best. Heck I'm not even qualified for these trophies. But you can't say I didn't try. And now I know I made my boy proud 🥹 If you're also trying for them.
Don't give up! A noob like me got lucky. so it can also happen to you.

UPDATE: Eventide

Just adding to say that they updated the Head Gear which says while within range of a ghost event or hunting ghost: Tier III will now have visual interference. But that's okay !
if you get a Deo like I said, Looping it around the Manager Office table is still viable.

They also added New ID Card badges.
Note: If you have already completed any of the Apocalypse challenges, you will need to complete a single game of any kind to receive your new ID card rewards.

this is the best phas post i've ever read! congrats to you; i'll definitely be trying the apocalypse challenge again now! (i've grinded the game to get to almost prestige 8, i think?... not that i'm Really good, lol)
