If the original author requests it, I will remove this update.

It appears, despite what the author said below, that Royalty is required.

Original mod notes (1.4):

Let go of colonists with an immersive quest that allows pawns to join other friendly factions permanently.

Too often, someone joins your colony, claiming they have nowhere else to go. And because of your Ideology™ (DLC not required), you can't just turn them away! Well, now they *do* have somewhere else to go! This quest gives you a nice, moral way to get rid of colonists you don't want hanging around - on top of a neat reward for doing so. You of course can choose which colonists are sent away.

Colonists you give away are set to belong to that new faction. Good chance you'll see them again in caravans - or in raids!

This quest is heavily based off the Pawn Lending quest from Royalty™ (DLC not required)*, and its rewards/regularity/etc.
If you have any suggestions for changes, I'm happy to hear them.
* - ROYALTY ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED

Compatibility
Shouldn't have any problems with other mods or new saves, and should work with any mods that modify the quest system.
If you do find an issue, let me know and I'll get right on it.

Would it be possible to add an option to the comms console to ask a faction for this quest? That or maybe have the quest guaranteed to pop up once a quadrum? The mod works great, it's just somewhat inconsistent how often the quest shows up, especially in a moderately modded game. Sometimes I'll have to hold onto an undesirable pawn for over a year before I get the chance to send them away.

can you meet that pawn later?

Too many times have I not read the quest, and assumed someone needs a worker for a few days, and I send away one of my best colonists :(

@Gaijoob
More Faction Interaction gives you access to "marrying off" your pawns, which you can do at comms console, if you wanna just get rid of pawns at any time. Just, y'know, means also getting MFI's other features, which you may or may not want.
RimQuest lets you get quests more often, increasing the odds that the one from this mod will turn up.

Is there any way to know the odds of this quest happening? I've had the mod active for several in-game years and have never had it happen.

Heck yeah, I missed this one! Cheers for updating!

Yeah, it's definitely using Royalty-only code. Not sure I'm quite up to coding a non-Royalty version. Ah well.

Hmm, despite what the original notes says, it sure didn't like it when I removed Royalty. I've added that as a requirement while I go take a closer look at the code.

"He will send a shuttle" Is there a base game shuttle though? And do tribals also send shuttles?
