What if? 2, Life extended Class 52 'Western's

Description
What If?
BR policy hadn't forced the premature withdrawal of Diesel-Hydraulic locomotives?

Instead of scrapping, the Class 52 'Westerns' BR put them through a refurbishment, & fitted adaptions, to enhance operations.

THIS MOD REQUIRES Planesimple's original Class 52 model to be loaded.

These modificcations resulted in the surviving locomotives being split into 52/1 for Freight work & 52/2 for passenger work.

- 52/1 British Rail blue livery
- 52/2 Brisith Rail blue livery

The following subclass's were created later, mechanicaly still the same, the subclasses were formed for the differing sectors, plus the,Yeoman & Hanson's locomotives they bought from BR,

- 52/0 'Yeoman Aggregates' livery
- 52/0 'Hanson Aggregates' livery
- 52/2 InterCity livery
- 52/4 Regional Railways livery
- 52/6 Railfreight General livery
- 52/8 Rail Express Systems livery
- 52/9 BR Civil Engineers 'Dutch' livery.

As a result of privatisation of BR, the whole fleet were renumbered in their original TOPS subclasses, & split between EWS for freight locos & the newly formed Great Western franchise.
EWS disposed of their locos, in 2007, GBRf took on these locomotives from this date.

From 1997 - EWS livery.
From 2007 - GBRf livery.

The passenger locos wore the vast array of liveries that franchise used;

From 1995 - Great Western 'Merlin' livery.
From 2002 - First Great Western 'FagPacket' livery.
From 2003 - First Great Western 'Barbie with white' livery.
From 2004 - First Great Western 'Barbie' livery.
From 2006 - First Great Western 'Dynamic Stripes' livery.
From 2015 - First Great Western 'GWR' livery.

- Asset versions of all vehicles included.

Big thanks to Planesimple. for creating the original model, & supplying some additional textures.
To CW_315 for his additonal meshes.
To Rob_Archer, for his additional meshes, textures & technical support.
To JK for his assistance.
Without whom, this mod would not have been possible.

Cabviews have been modified, you have to use the pageup & pagedown keys to cycle through for the view you desire.

How far along is the final bit of the trio.

Ah, you're right. I tried the on/off enabling thing but not unsubbing, sorry. Yeah it's all-good bar the driver, which is odd because the driver in the second loco still appears. Cab rides are good though.

When I had the issue I got a black screen rather than a white one,, but effectively the same.

I’m pretty sure I’ve fixed that, but sounds like steam not updating your copy of the mod.

All I can suggest is unsubscribing waiting a few mins, then resubscribing, forcing steam to update the file you have, as like I say, thought this problem was resolved on my testing.

Driver issue I’ll have another look when I get chance.

Thanks muchly for the explanation re;stripe. On the 'void' error; Page up and down don't seem to make a difference, void appearing from both directions and missing driver in cab if there's two locos back to back, and in one direction with a single loco. I don't think I've seen this happen before with other mods so I can't think of a specific mod it could be clashing with or anything like that. Glad you were able to replicate it though, so it's not just on my end.

@takashigqgle thank you for your kind words.
@Blue Rookie cabviews should be ok now, just have to use the pageup & pagedown keys to cycle though the views to the one you desire.

@Blue Rookie
I have had another look & I think I've experienced the cabview issue you are referring too, only happens in one direction for me, I am having a look in to a fix, hopefully.
