SPORE Achievements

This guide describes all the achievements of the game "Spore", which can be obtained throughout the gameplay. These achievements will be displayed in your EA profile when you register and log in to your account in the game itself.

Achievements

Achievements are earned for completing certain tasks during the game or for the popularity of the player's creations. Throughout the gameplay, you can earn 100 achievements in Spore (not including those that are no longer available), and the Spore Galactic Adventures expansion pack provides another 50 achievements (these achievements will be in the next guide, I will leave a link in the comments).

Using some cheats will disable getting achievements during the game.

All achievements in the game are divided into 6 groups:
1) General achievements. They are given for the time spent in the game, passing stages at the maximum level, interacting with the game community, etc. The background of such achievements is red.
2) Achievements at the "Cage" stage. They are issued at the "Cage" stage. The background is a dull blue.
3) Achievements in the "Creature" stage. They are issued at the "Creature" stage. The background is green.
4) Achievements at the "Tribe" stage. They are issued at the "Tribe" stage. The background is orange.
5) Achievements at the stage of "Civilization". They are issued at the "Civilization" stage. The background is purple.
6) Achievements at the "Space" stage. Issued during the "Space" stage. The background is rich blue.

A reward for which you had to upgrade your brain. Probably given for completing a creature stage, but was later replaced by “Evolutionist”.

Strike





It is unknown why this reward was needed. If we remember that a "Strike" is a situation in bowling where all the pins are knocked down in one throw, then this achievement was probably associated with the Running Shot skill.

Good arm





Unknown reward with creature in hand. Nothing is known about this achievement. Considering that here the creature is holding a star in its hand, perhaps this was associated with flight.

This achievement, apparently, was associated with tribal equipment. Perhaps it was given for bringing all skills (communication, attack, defense and food gathering) to level 5, similar to the “Perfectionist” achievement from the creature stage.

Farmer





An award that has sunk into oblivion along with Agriculture. According to the Wiki description, the City stage had agriculture and industry. In the demo versions, farms and mines were seen, and in the game files, buildings of the “Farm” type and equipment of the “Combine” type were found. However, the City stage was cut from the final version, as was farming in general. Attempts may have been made to bring him back to the Tribe stage, but they were unsuccessful.

An achievement that was associated with gifts at the “Tribe” stage. The fact is that in order to improve relations with hostile tribes, it is necessary to present them with a gift and appease them. Friendly tribes also bring similar gifts to maintain relationships. Probably, "Generous Soul" was aimed at raising relations with other tribes and was included in the set with "Luddite". By analogy, an achievement was given for giving 150 gifts.

Giantkiller





The “Monster Slayer” reward itself is in the game, but only at the creature stage, where it is quite difficult to get it. You just need to kill the monster. However, his health is 5-10 times greater than that of the player at the last stage of evolution (500-1000 versus 110), and some monsters also spit fire. At the "Tribe" stage, it is much easier to take down a giant, perhaps because of this the achievement was removed.

Little is known about this award either. It is quite possible that the achievement was given for collecting 50 insignia at the “Space” stage and came before the “Scout” award, given for 100 insignia.

Interesting Facts

• Most of the creatures depicted on awards have 3 eyes.

• After using cheat codes in the "Space" stage, on one of the game saves, you will receive the "Rounder" insignia and will no longer be able to receive rewards.

• There were also carved insignia. Among other things, you can see sketches of the “Playing with Fire” and “Eradication of Evil” badges, given for concluding an alliance with the Grox race or their complete extermination. There is also a brighter version of the "Captain" badge, medals of different colors and a badge with a UFO over the city. It is quite possible that the last achievement was given for the development of space empires from creatures at the “Civilization” stage, since there is a similar insignia “Enlightener”, given for the creation of tribes.

• The achievement "42" is a reference to Douglas Adams' book The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, where the answer to "The Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything" was supposed to solve all the problems of the Universe. All intelligent races were eagerly awaiting this answer. It was obtained as a result of seven and a half million years of continuous calculations on a specially created computer - the Thinker (Deep Thought). According to the computer, the answer has been checked several times for correctness, but it may upset everyone. It turned out that the answer to the question is “42”.

• The solar system is located at an angle of 225.06 - the distance from the center of the galaxy is 7295.43 pcs. Nearby is a group of bright white stars forming the letter T, not far from them is the Solar System. That's where you can find Earth.
