The Beginner
Self explanitory, someone who is new to the game.
Usually a F2P, this guy is just learning how to play the game and isn't too threatening.

Threat: 0
Rarity: Some What Rare
Preferred Cosmetics: None
Motto: "What does this weapon do?"
The F2P
One Step up from the noob, F2Ps
(Free-2-Play) are people who aren't a premium user. Their skill is very wide spread, and they can be useless player slots or team MVPs!
Most people look down on F2Ps as garbage, while a majority of them are you can't just judge from the majority, as some are very skilled.
Some people just put the gibus and goggles on just to enrage the person they killed or fool the enemy into thinking they are not a threat.
As for P2P mocking F2Ps, that is just rude and disrespectful. They are people too you know!
Threat Level: Varying
Rarity: VERY Common
Preffered Cosmetics: Ghostly Gibus, Pyrovision Goggles, Mercenary Badge.
Motto: "Who Cares About Hats?!"
The Mann Vs Machine Pro
Someone who devotes most of their time into MvM (Mostly Mann Up Mode) instead of the normal game.
This player is an MvM master! He knows how to be effective with every class, he knows the best time to go any class, knows some neat tips 'n tricks.
You can spot a player like this by his cosmetics, they usually have robo hats and botkiller/austrailum weapons.
Threat Level: (He usaully plays MvM but in normal game he is also pretty decent)
Rarity: SomeWhat Rare
Preffered Cosmetics/Weapons: Botkiller weapons and robo hats.
Motto: "Take Out Those Uber Medics!
Friendly Players
Friendly Players are people who are tired of mindlessly blowing the enemy team's brains out and instead want to make peace to the blood spattered field.
Friendly Players will not hurt you (unless provoked) and are not a threat whatsoever, BUT don't kill Hoovies because they only want to share a sandvich with you, which can be a REAL tactical advantage!
Mostly Hoovies, friendly players crouch down and hold out their sandvich or melee weapon and try to make friends with the enemy team.
Reasons Why You Shouldn't Kill A Friendly:
1. How can you kill something so cute and defenseless?
2. They are usually pretty good at the game and if provoked them they will mow you down.
3. How will you sleep at night knowing you have slautered this innocent creature?!
Unfortunately though, many players kill friendlys either because they either don't know what it is, or just wanna get that "gamebreaking" 1 kill on thier strange.

Threat Level: HAHAHAHAHA
Rarity: Slightly Rare
Preffered Cosmetics: Anything that makes you look cute and adorable!
Motto: "Sandvich Make Me Strong!"
W+M1 Pyro
Just don't........
W+M1ing refers to a very ineffective strategy in which the player runs at an enemy in a straight predictable line and holds down Forward and Mouse 1 to constantly shoot flames out of their flamethrower until he/she or his/her enemy dies.
This is a horrible strategy and should not be used. Ever.
Threat Level: Low-Medium
Rarity: Common
Preffered Cosmetics: Usaully none or the Ghostly Gibus and PyroVision Goggles
Motto: "I Talent"
The Pro
Great player, has very pricey stuff and is fun to play with.
If you see someone with an unusaul, then that mean 1 of 2 things
1. They are devoted players who spend a lot of time playing TF2 and are respectable players.
2. They got rich of their mommy's credit card
Probably the first one though.

Threat Level: Very High
Rarity: Very Rare
Preffered Cosmetics: Unusauls and other expensive items
Motto: "TeamWork = Op"
The Combat/Battle Medic
Combat Medics, oh Combat Medics.
Combat Medics are Medics that don't heal other players and instead go on a very offensive route using his Blutsauger (You don't have to equip it to be a Combat Medic but it is very effective while being a Combat Medic) and a melee of choice.
They are generally not too big of a threat but some are very skilled.
If you need a better explaination of a Combat Medic, check the master of the Combat Medics himself,
ArraySeven.

Threat: Low-High
Rarity: Rare
Preffered Cosmetics: Any
Motto: "The Hurting Is More Rewarding Then The Healing!"
The Squeaker
The Squeaker is.... Well... A Squeaker.
Threat Level: MY EARS ARE BLEEDING!
Rarity: Pretty Rare
Preffered Cosmetics: None or Ghostly Gibus and PyroVision Goggles
Motto: YOU F###iING F#G!
The Trader
The Trader y'know TRADES! These guys are very experienced players and are good in normal game, but spend most of thier time trading thier expensive items. Usually on trade servers (Duh), they will trade for items and well, trade some more. Really nothing more to it.
Threat Level: Ranging
Rarity: Somewhat Common
Preffered Cosmetics: Buds and expensive items
Motto: "Selling Unusual Anger With Dead Presidents Effect!"
Teh Rager
I SPELLED THE WRONG F###! That ladies and gentleman, is a rager.
A rager is someone who frequently gets angry while playing a video game or doing something, in other words rages at it.
Usually armed with a mic and some anger issues, the rager's job is to make your team have to take time to mute him before their ears bleed.
Now there are different sub species of the rager:

The N00b Rager: He's playing for the first time and he isn't so happy about dying a lot. He also thinks a lot of the gameplay mechanics (Backstab, UberCharge, Etc.) are hacks.

The Regular Rager: He's just angry because he keeps dying to that n00bie spy or something like that.

The MvM Rager: He NEEDS you to play a certain class or a certain way.

The CoD N00b: He just came from a long history of yelling into the mic in CoD, now it's his first time playing TF2. His favourite class is 99% of the time the sniper.

Threat Level: Varies (Usaully medium)
Rarity: Very Rare
Rarity In MvM: Common
Preffered Cosmetics: Any
Motto (n00b) HOW DID YOU INSTA KILL ME WITH THE KNIFE I HAD FULL HEALTH!
Motto (Regular) KILL THE ME- HE UBERED!!!!!!! THIS TEAM SUUUUCKKKKKKS!
Motto (MvM) HEAVY! GO MEDIC OR KICK! DO IT NOOOWWWW!!!!

The Idler
..........
Idling is when you stand still and do nothing at all while playing a video game.
This guy is the reason the kick option "Player is Idle" was invented.
Imagine, you are a red engie on payload and you have about 10 seconds to place a minisentry to stop the scout on the cart. You go to place it when you see 4 heavies standing in the way of the sentry spot!
You try to find another spot to put i---BOOOM!!!! You lost! And then you talk to the heavies about blocking your way but they don't respond!
Or you come out of blu spawn on payload after setup time and charge in only to find that your team is not charging with you! You die and then see your team standing in spawn do nothing!
That is an idler
Threat Level: 0
Rarity: Pretty Common
Preffered Cosmetics: Any
Motto: ........

The Regular Player
A regular player is.... Well, a regular player.
This player has quite a bit of cosmetics, (If P2P) is generally good at the game, and is pretty fun to play with.
Threat Level: Medium
Rarity: Very Common
Preffered Cosmetics: Any
Motto: "This Game Is Great!"

I think I fit more in this category then any other.......
Speaking of me.....

The Hacker
Ha! Fooled ya!
A hack is something that can break into accounts, send viruses, and many other dangerous things.
In multiplayer video games hacks are thirdparty (That means the devlopers don't own it) devices used to make the hacker have unfair advantages over other players.
Some examples are: Aim hacks that make you land your shot even if you miss, speed hacks which make you faster, damage hacks which increases your power, and many others.
Hacking is not allowed in games and devlopers will probably ban you if you use hacks.
So basically, if you are near an enemy who his hacking, he WILL kill you.
The most common type of hack in TF2 is called aimbot which is an aim hack.
The hacker will 70% of the time pick sniper to hack, 29% of the time he will hack heavy, and 1% anything else.
Threat Level: You're going to die
Rarity: Rare
Preffered Cosmetics: Gibus And Goggles
Motto: "I`m Great At This Game!"
The Troll
Perfect picture. Anyway, a troll is Internet slang for someone who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.
I totally didn't copy-paste that from wikipedia.......
So a troll is someone who wants to piss in your cereal.
These are the many sub species of trolls:

The Mini Sentry Troll
Just using the mini sentrys alone is already troll worthy.
On some maps like Hightower, minis can ruin games.

The W+M1 Pyro
Might not be an intentional troll sometimes, but still.
Go read the W+M1 Pyro section you lazy skrubs! Oh no I gave something away....

The Rude Teen
That teen that's saying stuff like: Shut up kid! This team sucks! TURTLEGUY785 SHOULD GO DIE!

XxMLG_SN1PERxX
Yeah I gave this away with the skrubs thing. The MLG Sniper is a very skilled player with a touch of Shrek`s power, and a little bit of Sanic`s SuperSanicSpeed in his reactions. This MLGamer will say ``Rekt`` or put a lenny`s face in the chat when he kills someone with a headshot. Armed with the Rekinator, this is someone you don`t want to mess with.
Threat Level: Very High
Rarity: Rare
Preffered Cosmetics: Any
Motto: Darude-Sandstrom

Wanna know something about one of the latter sections?

I'm American and I spell "Colour" as "Color".
There is literally no use for the extra "u" there.
