All Level 1 Secrets

A simple guide to the four secrets in level 1.

Overview

Unlimited blood!

On the left side of main room, (Doom arena) there are some boxes.
Break them to reveal the Unlimited blood! power up.

Super Speed!

When you take the blood on this pedestal the door in front of you opens, while the door past it to your left closes.
The best way to get there before it closes is slide into the blood, and Air Dash into one of the enemies that comes out of the door into a slide.

Bouncy Dash!

The simplest one on this list, just break the darker bricks.
Once you collect the power up you can slide out the other side.

Wrist-Crossbow

The last (and hardest) secret is at the top of either side of the main pillar in the hub room.
What you want to do is alternate slightly angled wall jumps up the sides of one of the diagonal walls until you reach the ledge.
This is roughly what you want to aim for, quickly reversing it and jumping to keep yourself centered.

I would suggest going to the practice map and spending a few minutes trying it until you can get to the top of the wall, the lava in the actually level is very punishing for learning.

Thank you so much for this, I was very annoyed at not being able to get that last secret but thankfully found this guide. Took me an hour and thirty minutes but got up there in the end. This game is so damn good.
