Correct Titles - AGOT

Description
Annoyed that knightly houses use "Lord"? Probably not, but I am so I made this little mod

Changes:
- feudal barons will be "Ser"
- feudal counts will be "Ser"
- feudal barons/counts from the North are "Master"
- feudal barons/counts from the Iron Islands are "Captain"
- feudal barons/counts from the Stepstones remain same as in base

Exceptions. There are ALOT of exceptions. Some examples:
- Some counts are Lords based on what I could find in the lore on Lordly houses
- A few Dukes are Sers (Templeton, Connington)

I went with the 300AC bookmark, I realise there are some changes over the years and it may not be 100% correct for the other bookmarks, but the amount of work needed to fix that per bookmark is not worth the gain. If you intend to play an earlier bookmark and want the Conningtons to be Lords, just delete that entry from the file.

Thanks to: Valaddar in showing some of the basics.

I wasn't either until I came across this mod, but now I am ha!
Just adding it now, thank you!

This mod will work with any new version. I'll try update the descriptor file soon

I have an idea to make it better, more functional with more options, but I currently don't have the time to spend on doing the required work. I have like 8 hours of free time per week that can be spent on stuff like this, and I choose to spend it on gaming myself instead of modding atm. (I got a company and am a father of 2 young kids)

May change at some point, but I'm not making any changes to the mod for the time being.

If I don't respond to comments, it's because I don't look here alot and I don't get any notifications of new messages :-)

update?

It's possible that the bookmark you mean the Connington are counts who should be Lords because they haven't lost it yet. But I am not gonna make exceptions for bookmarks as well, so you'll just have to live with that, or get another d_ title and make it your primary

Rule exceptions are tied to their main holding. So Connington's are Landed Knight's in the lore date I used to reference all houses. They are dukes who should be Ser. I had to make an exception which I then tie to their main c_ tier title.

Also counts by default are Sers and should be that, there are only very few counts who should be Lord in the game.

I understand what you mean, but it's not how the game code works that I have to modify sadly

@Korvash but in your mod counts are already sers and not lords. So since Conningtons are only counts in 284 and not dukes (after their title is stripped) the title of the Conningtons in 284 would already be the correct “ser” without changing the griffin’s roost duchy title to also be “ser”. Do you understand?

Hi Uncle,

I know, but I can't make exceptions per bookmark atm. I got an idea to fix it in a way that fits all bookmarks, but it depends on when I get time to write and experiment agian, which may be months (I work and am a father, old fart basically, so no time)

@Korvash in 284 the conningtons are counts and not dukes, so the duchy of griffin's roost should still be lord.

@Argotin

Yes I know that, but I it's more work than its worth to make exceptions on bookmarks. So I went with the bookmark that has the most info and based all of them on that.

@ambitiousRam
That's actually step 2, yes. But it will be a while before I have that finished :-)
