It doesn't work, the perk doesnt appear after taking synthetic evolution and finishing it. I do have empty tradition tree slots too.

点完合成之后不给飞升槽位是为什么呀？Why not give a ascenion perk after playing tradition_synthetics ?

The problem is that for synthetic empire, the archetype is robot but not machine. So you need to override the traditions to give robot what they need

Can confirm it doesn't work if you pick the synthetic fertility origin. Maybe it needs a trigger for the ascension perk and/or completing the tradition tree?

They use same ascension tradition yes, but synthetic fertility does not grant the ascension perk itself. so for conditions you might have to check for finished tradition instead of the perk.

unless you already did it that way then it should work :)
