Sun Lamp Auto-Basins

Description
This mod adds a button to auto-place hydroponic blueprints around a sun lamp that maximizes the benefit of the lit area.

Formerly known as Sun Lamp Honesty
Before the sun lamp light radius bug was fixed, sun lamps as of the release of 1.5 produced more brightly lit (100%) area than intended. This mod increased the drawn light radius to match.

06/14/2025: Update to 1.6
05/24/2024: Change the name of the mod, remove functionality related to sun lamp light radius bug that has now been fixed.

Hey, is it possible to make this compatible with Vanilla Expanded: Helixian? That mod adds a helixian gas sun light that doesn't get this neat feature.

I honestly thought i would have just removed this mod after the update fixed it but this feature is super nice.

Well, it was fun while it lasted. Now I have to go change all my hydroponics layouts. Thanks for the cool mod, though.

@Serfis Sorry, but this mod is intended as a QOL mod. I don't want to change the game's mechanics. There should be other mods already that increase the light radius though.

Thanks, I’ll test out later today but I’m on the stable branch and rimworld has updated for me with a patch notes release so I believe this has already happened.

@krzarb I am waiting for them to release the change to the stable branch. As far as I know they haven't done that yet. When they do, this mod will be reduced to just the button.

I didn't realise it was this mod that adds that button, it's a really great feature. Is it set back to the original sun lamp radius now?
