WS-4000 AURORA Rail Cannon (Accelerated Ultra-Range Orbital Railgun Arsenal)

With the success of ROBA's LEVIATHAN laser gun, WASSER naturally attempted to respond with a device of their own. The AURORA fires a large beam that pierces through all obstacles in its path. Though not technically a true railgun, it is classified as one for its remarkable similarities. Pistons inject a fluid into the chamber of the barrel, slowly building until there is enough to fire a shot, at which point, after a couple seconds, the penetrating hyper-concentrated beam is fired, bringing devastation to all it touches. The AURORA was to be installed on spacecraft, but to save on resources the energy tank was left uncovered, which was enough of an exploitable flaw that production quickly ceased.
