Yea, they kinda cut her real quickly out the the sequel with the audio tapes in the Southern Shelf. It's interesting, if you go back in the development of Borderlands, that she may have had a bigger role - as shown with the first look at Borderlands was going to be with the E3 2007 vid -> http://youtu.be/egFJVsGCPF8
