[Lucky Star] Yamato Nagamori for Nick (Lucky Star ROG)

Yamato Nagamori from Lucky Star Ryouou Gakuen Outousai replacing Nick. The last part of the 201 part translation series just came out on TimePieceMaster's channel. You should watch it if you're interested.

The video was taken from when I had just ported the model in. It has actual CGs in it now, although the downed CG looks bad.

I had a lot of trouble with the viewmodel and eventually resorted to retexturing Zoey's Viewmodel. Admittedly, it looks a bit shoddy, I got a little impatient with it. There's some issues I've noticed on the model such as the weapons not aligned to the fingers and issues with the hand and fingers during certain animations. They don't bother me that much however and I did not find them too noticable. In the future, I may try to resolve some of these issues, as well as getting the viewmodel using the arms of the player model. I may also try and apply some jiggle bones. Also, the downed CG looks kind of bad.

I am unsure as to how this would work with custom weapons or animations. From my experience, custom models with custom animations tend to be buggy with custom player models.

I will provide more screenshots and a video probably tomorrow.

I may try some other Lucky Star models as well as a few haven't been ported as player models yet.


Oh yeah, it also has blinking animations. I don't know how, I must have named a shape key correctly. There's no other facial expressions though.

Please let me know of any issues. I did not encounter any.
