Weapon Tiers and Stats

Below is a link to a spreadsheet I maintain with weapons sorted into tiers with a variety of stats calculated. Weapons are also highlighted to denote the different Warbonds they are a part of. Weapons aren't rated separately for bugs vs. bots, instead it's a general overall rating. This just makes it easier for me to maintain. The screencaps in this guide might be outdated. I try to update them as much as I can, but the spreadsheet itself will always be the most current source.

About me: I'm level 150 with ~800hrs. That doesn't make me amazing at the game, just experienced (and obsessed, with no life, only dive). I've seen plenty of lower levels who are better than me. As best I can tell I play an equal split between bots and bugs. I listen to feedback and suggestions both in game and outside it. If someone loves a particular gun and is doing well, I'll ask their thoughts on it and give it another try. Most of my hours were spent on diff 9, but I play on all difficulties regularly because I love playing with lower level divers too.

I think smoke needs a bit of a revamp. Sometimes it feels strong, but other times it doesn't seem to do anything. I don't know if that's network desync issues or intentional, but it doesn't feel great. And the smoke grenade being such a tiny short lasting cloud doesn't help. I think if it was more like an IRL smoke grenade with the longer lasting plume it would be better, but that depends on smoke actually obscuring enemy vision properly.

I've definitely played squids the least, but somewhat even mix of bots v. bugs. I'll usually just play wherever the most players are at, which is typically some event or MO planet

Haha that's a good tip! I had some fun the other day running carbombs with the FRV (saw it on youtube). Terrorism feels great

The secret to the portable hellbomb is to vote one person as the "infiltrator". Engage the main force as that person goes into a group of bad guys, or the objective. For my crew, Im the infiltrator.

I did a test to be sure, measuring from when I started firing to when I died.

Regular armor + no vitalty booster: 12s
Fire resist armor + no vitality booster: 17.5s
Fire resist armor + Vitality booster: 21s

So you get almost double with the combo compared to neither

Thx and by the way, I think they took out the fire resistance+vitaility booster for the double edges sickle
