How to Unlock Size 2 FIsh

Real way to unlock the size 2 fish after all this time.

To Start

Unlock 7-S. The level is found in 7-3 but this isn't a guide for that, do it yourself. :)

Next clear out 7-S like you would. Get to the area where you unlock the blue skull and clear that room. Multiple people found that when entering the water fall, you are met with the Agnes Gorge Trail, which was hinted earlier in the developer museum.

The trail takes forever, and leads you to find a door, unfortunately you need the red skull, and you can't take it without shutting the door, so it doesn't work. So here you are, stuck at a door, and a path behind you.

So go back if you went.

What to do.

Now that you are back, grab the blue skull, and put it where it goes inside the library. The exit doors will open up, but you can't leave. It wants you to clean the library first. So grab the tools.

Don't actually clean. Head to the second floor of the main room, and on the right side by the windows you will see a green book in the book shelf.

Use the vacuum and you can open the book shelf for a second. Slide through and you will end up in a room with a "charger" and a locked gate. Use the blue rail cannon on it, to power it.

The gate won't open, meaning you have to use the vacuum on the green book again. Once you go out the main room will be dark, and filled with droid ghosts. These ghosts can insta-kill you, so be careful.

Now you have to get rid of these ghosts. Each one can be taken out with the vacuum, suck them up by getting close to them. Don't get that close since if they hit you they will kill you. Do this until all of the ghosts are gone, they are only in the main room. The room will then light up.

After killing the ghosts, grab the red skull from the stool, and go back to the green book with the vacuum. Open the shelf as before and enter the room. This time the gate should be open, and you can go through. On the other side you will be outside the fence of the blue skull area. With borders around you the only way you can go is over the fence in the blue skull area.

You can head back to the Agnes Gorge Trail now. Continue down the trail as before, this time with the red skull. The rocket launcher can be used in all 3 variants to go faster, but you might kill yourself. Reach the door and place the red skull down.

With the door open you can head onto the beautiful beach. Hakita and florp are laying down, under an umbrella. But they aren't needed. Head down to the shoreline, and near you will see a bottle with a message in it. Pick up the bottle and throw it, breaking it and releasing the message. Pick the message up and follow the steps for size 2 fish!

I hope this helps solve the mystery on size 2 fish, as it can be caught now! :)

UUHHH WHERED THE CAVE ENTRANCE GO. it was there when i first played through the level but now its gone what the dink

you can also:
hit the pond checkpoint
go backwards towards the lobby
grab red skull
reset to checkpoint

you are now holding the red skull out in the pond area, but it is a one way trip. lol
