How to make the footsteps of enemies in CS: GO louder? There aren't any special tricks in this guide. No commands will make the footsteps from the other side of the map louder, but there's a way to tweak the sound settings and make the game a bit more enjoyable.

At the very beginning, start a match with bots to evaluate the sound settings. After that, we need to open the console, then we write the following command there:

snd_headphone_pan_exponent 2

Now the shots are getting even louder, the grenade explosions are sounding even more powerful, and the footsteps are becoming even more audible. If you decide to return everything as it was, use the value 1.

To improve the quality of hearing, we recommend that you use this command:

snd_front_headphone_position 45

If you want to return to the original parameters, you should change it to 90.

In order to improve the sound of the audio effects behind you, you will need to use the following command:

snd_rear_headphone_position 135

When using the Razer Surround program, an even better combination of these two options is possible. To return to the standard setting, it is suggested to use the value 90.

It's time to move on to audio delay in CS2. To minimize it, we will need a team:

snd_mixahead 0.05

This command makes the sounds more realistic, but some players may encounter the problem of the "sound of crickets" in headphones. To solve this problem, it is recommended to increase the parameter value to 0.10.

Playing with the values in the commands and searching for comfortable sound parameters gives us the opportunity to customize CS2 to our liking. However, it is worth remembering that every time you enter CS2, you need to re-register these commands.


In addition, to break through to a decent level for a CS player:GO needs a good gaming headset. Eliminate the column game.

i'd say using scripts is cheating, there was a built in wallhack anybody could do in a public server that was built into the scripts
